DANGER DOLLS (not safe for work or Girly boys)
Pulp Fiction, Heavy Metal magazines ?....no these are not as good as
some stuff that the old Detective Magazines had on their covers back in the good old years...say 1950's and 60's. Remember when Batman and Superman comic books cost 10 cents a copy ? Blackhawk, Green Lantern, AquaMan, Plastic Man, Torchie ? Bettie Page? (She cost more) Comic books (For all you young dudes) were all 10 cents a copy and most were much thicker with more stories than the 10 sheets that you pay 5 bucks a copy for now at the local comic book stores. :) |

^^Fix it!!
Good, solid work a always Ron! I do remember the old comicbooks (I've got some of my dad's lying around) and I've always liked their classy look. In this endeavor of yours to mimic the old comic books I'd say you come really close in nr#2 and #5; you even got the font right! But how come you haven't included a title, price and illustrator info in the last picture? |
The "Jenni of the Bottle" and "Dolly Parton" drawing were just added as extras.
Dolly is quoted :"If I had not been born a girl....I would have been a DRAG QUEEN". She also said :"It takes a lot of money to look so trampy!". One last remark : On the old Tonight Show,Johnny Carson remarked about Dolly's famous cleavage: "I would give a month's pay to have a look down there !" (Johnny you Devil !) |
I thought the line was "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap!"
But the drawings are awesome. Very very well done. |
Thanks....you is Correct

Leno is funny sometimes but Letterman is too goofy to watch. Conan seems almost ready for a straight jacket and that British guy that use to be the Boss on the Drew Carey Show is ok I suppose. Then that leaves Jimmy Kimmel and I don't like him or watch his show.) |
Wonder why a woman has never hosted a late night talk show? Does this mean that
it's a MAN's WORLD ????? |
