I've explained it all before; "pain" caused by a punch in the head (which doesn't start with "J") doesn't stop Joker from being narcissistic. You don't see modern hospitals use pain to cure narcissism do ya? :lol:

I'd accept either torture or a shrink but as neither of those start with J he can't use them as a counterattack.

It seems that we can't come to an agreement on this issue so I guess we have to stop the battle.

I recieved a reply from a well respected author of a book on narcissism, however he has asked that I do not associate his name with the following. I can respect that, you'll just have to take my word for it.

Considering there is only one book on narcissism, it shouldn't be difficult to find out who he is.

I'm still not going to accept a punch as a counterattack given the fact that there are 2 possible outcomes of such a punch - not one. Further more should the punch make Joker snap out of it, it'll only be temporarily like the good author said, not permantently, which means that when he comes to his senses Joker won't grab the knife and I'll win.

Thats not my point... you say a punch dont start with J then i cant use it... And its not my intent to remove the narsicism but to force the joker to take the knife anyway... Or does narsicism work that way that you dont care if a huge massmurder begins to hurt you to do a thing....

It doesn't matter. The rules say you combat the others drawing. He's having Jason punch his own attack. He should have attacked the mirror as that was your counter. The whole narcisism thing isn't exactly something you can combat though. Weird move. Dunno how you'd beat it, since the battle is over I'd probably just have ignored it and moved on back to the knife.

"Jason" was your counterattack and his particular skill is not to force someone into doing something. He's just good at beating people up, nothing more. You can't force Joker to restrain from taking the knife as force doesn't start with J either.

No it was a brilliant move to choose narcissism as it is practially impossible to beat. A shrink would be able to remove it but Dizzet can't use that as a counterattack given the rules.

There's no point in attacking the mirror as it's only an xtra thing I chose to draw to enhance the idea of his narcissism, as narcissistic people often contemplate themselves in a mirror. Removing the mirror won't stop him from being narcissistic either as it is a mental illess of some sort.

I thought that by "Norman - the fattest guy in the world" it's pretty obvious what his "talent" is.

/edit: looking back, surely if we're getting technical you could go back to the point where nancy used 'Norman, the world's fatest guy'... surely just making someone up and giving them a name that begins with the letter you are using shouldnt really be allowed, otherwise Dizzet could just have 'Jason...the world renowned curer of narcissism' or something to that effect...

Well Nancy if we REALLY wanted to get technical here the Joker could never be a Narcisist anyway could he? I mean his face is disfigured. It's why he paints it. He pretty much hates his face. ;)
