I've found a new drawing feature (for me anyway) in Adobe Illustrator. It be fun!! Let me know what you think. Any Illustrator users, I would love some tips on this type of thing if you gottem.

Thank you cellophanedeity. Its called the Mesh Tool. You draw the contours onto the object.

Wait... did you just discover the mesh tool, dobster?! Wtf?! You've been working with Illustrator for a long time and you've never used it before?

Remember the iPod girl I was making and couldn't remember the tool that made those cool effets I wanted for the eyelids? Well that was the mesh tool, heheh. I just forgot to tell you about it :|

Hey Kiddo, thank for the BDay wish, but its not until End of this month, lady!

I know, I was always scared of that little button, it was only a matter of tme before I found a need, and it was for a cushion drawing in the end. LOVING THE MESH!

I did think the ipod lady would use something I hadn't touched yet. Did you show the completed one? :icare:

Nah I haven't worked on the iPod Lady because I've been busy with private project since then. I will get around to it eventually.. and when I do I promise to post the result :)

Nice work, Dobster. I'm currently working on something that I consider my best Illustrator work yet. I'll post it here when I'm done.

Although after seeing that lifeinvector site, I'm still feeling like I have much to learn.

i've been working with illustrator for 10 years. i once hit the mesh tool button. once. guess i'd better go take a peek again. that life in vector stuff is Amazing. capital A.
