who likes doing logos? who likes getting paid to do them?

think you have what it takes?

i have 3 referral slots open for the online company i work for, arteis.net

what it is, is, a logo design job, arteis posts tons of jobs a day, you pick which ones you want to do, then you do them, then you get paid, simple as that..

if you want to know more, message me asap, i make 300 bucks in 9 hours, by the way. and that's if i'm lazy.

i need to see examples of your logos, and you need to have work put up online somewhere

Willravel 04-25-2005 06:06 PM

Man if only I could have met you when I was age 5-12....I played with legos like 12 or 13 hours a day. $33/hr. isn't too bad either. I'll see if my little bro still has his legos.

kramus 04-25-2005 07:15 PM

*shyly lifts pant legs

Are these good enough? I could post them in Exhibition ...

gallopingwanker 04-25-2005 09:11 PM

1.lol

2.lol

but in all seriousness, i need to know asap

Dizzet 04-26-2005 03:03 AM

well i am a media graphics artist here in denmark and make logos pretty often so i would like to give it a try...

ophelia783 04-26-2005 03:08 AM

I think I know someone who would be interested...PM me with the details, please!

Nancy 04-26-2005 03:40 AM

I'm interested!

*sends you a PM immediately*

Mister Coaster 04-26-2005 11:32 AM

I'm definately interested. I don't have too much logo work that I have done, but I have a few things I can send.

**sending PM**

gallopingwanker 04-26-2005 12:25 PM

i'll update you as i go through me evaluating everybody that was interested, 30+ people...

arteis' website is acting funky and saying that referalls are no longer active, but i wrote my boss there, and he said they WERE up, so i'm waiting to hear back...

Willravel 04-26-2005 06:47 PM

Does the program you use work on Mac OS? If so, then I'd be interested in more info.

majik_6 04-26-2005 10:44 PM

I'd definitely be interested. I'll try to get some more of my logo/digital stuff posted online. I don't have an online portfolio right now, but I've been using photobucket to host my stuff, so it is online technically.

*going to pm you now!*

gallopingwanker 04-28-2005 01:42 AM

ok, i have i think 2 slots left, and those will need to be filled by next week..so i'll keep updating you guys...

willravel, you do the logos on whatever os you want, you should use adobe illustrator to create the logos..

for an example of what they're looking for you can see my logos i've done for them at www.ruinedbydesign.com/arteis

Mister Coaster 04-28-2005 06:19 AM

Gallopingwanker: Here are some samples of my stuff...

All were done in Adobe Illustrator, most were done by taking reference pix off the internet, and drawing in Illustrator. I promise these are NOT simple Photoshop edits, I can send you the vector files if you want.

Here is one of Jack Nicholson as the Joker, one color white on black, this was for a T-Shirt...

This is one I did just for fun, inspired by Pulp Fiction...
http://www.propichosting.com/Images/421556700/29.jpg

This I did for my friend's desktop background, The Transformers logos...

And this one was one I did for work, using company approved clipart, colors and font. If needed, however, I could easily draw all these elements myself...

Adding one more I did for a friend...

If these are all rexed due to my free server dying (which I'm surprised it hasn't done yet) please let me know and I can e-mail the pix. Thanks for looking.

gallopingwanker 04-28-2005 09:52 PM

ok everyone, i was rushed to make my decision today actually, if i referred you, you would know by now...

thanks for everyone that was interested, but i couldn't refer all of you (or i would)

guess you'll just have to wait for round 2 of referrals to come along...

paulskinback 05-04-2005 11:55 AM

Sorry was just lurking, but on the link you gave, the logo for leisure entertainment group (2) does look a little like a penis...

the rest are absolutely great - i'm envious of your talent

gallopingwanker 05-04-2005 03:33 PM

i don't see how it looks like a penis, but i know things like that happens, and it's usually not the designer of the peice to notice it, lol...i didn't like the leisure logos :(

anti fishstick 05-12-2005 07:56 PM

darn i guess i'm too late on this thread.

Bob Biter 05-12-2005 08:48 PM

Love the Big Kahuna Burger pic! Make a t-shirt of that and I'd buy it!
