Please give me your opinions on this character
 

Some of my friends really think this character just doesn't look cool at all. He was supposed to be the main character in a project I've been thinking up and working on for a few months. I tihnk he looks cool.. but if other people don't like him whats the point? So I would like to hear the opinions of you guys at the TFP on this as well because I can trust your opinions. (feel free to critique as well of course)

Well i think its cool done but there is a huge lack of anatomy in this picture...

The face is very bad bacause there isent anything that is placed right... the eyes isent in the same line, and the mouth is tilted and the nose is not in the middel of the face...

And you say its a he...when i first saw the picture i saw a woman... manly because of the hips and the large lips...

And then there is the arms they are... look at a picture of a man and look at hes muscle and draw them or draw youer own arm...

I hope you dont take this negativ because if you first learn anatomy youer pictures could be so great....

P.S i made a littel sketch on youer picture so you maybe can get a feeling what i was thinking....

Right, this guy is a little past androgynous and into the feminine realm. Your shading and such has a lot of potential, but this does look like a girl. And Dizzet is right--the face doesn't line up at all. Look at his sketch to move things around a bit.

sorry I forgot to say ^_^; thats a third eye on his forehead. Anyway, i agrere about the hips and the lips. I didn't realize how big they were as I was drawing.

I was about to say, that's a tatoo on his forhead.

He looks like a person of african american heritage to me, I don't know if thats what you wanted.

I guess since I watched a lot of anime when I was younger I'm a little tired of the smaller sized hero, but he's not bad.

It's not just the lips and the hips...the right area of his chest (left really) resembles a womans breast because of the shading. It definitely shows a lot of promise though. I know I can't draw that well. Good luck

Make sure you give a complete discription of the art you sumbmit, its obvious by the response that no one was aware of the third eye. Its really good art but no one can read your mind.

to me, it looked immediately like a third eye.
i didn't notice that there was anything wrong with the nose,
but after it's been pointed out, i guess it is a little off center.
perhaps he's been knocked around a bit.
i know my nose is no longer as straight as it once was.
(being a superhero is rough work!)

i did think the character was a bit too scrawny.
dizzet's fleshing out sketch is a nice suggestion.
your character doesn't have to be The Hulk,
but he would benefit from a little meat on the bones.

Pretty cool artwork....but I'd give him only 2 eyes and make them level.
What's with the raggedy hair ? Do gals dig that kind of messy hair?
(Some must do ....that Ty guy on "Home Makeovers" never combs his
hair....it looks spikey all the time.)

i think everything is really cool and creative except for the eye, i dont know y, but it doesnt look like it fits
