This may have been a little bit inspired by the vaggie tales characters, but I chose different foods so's not to be a copycat. And I put a little more expression into the faces. Whatcha tink?

Evening Vermin,

I love anthropomorphic food. The blurriness of the fruit gives it a nice dreamy quality. These dudes also remind me of the old fashioned fruit crate labels that employ cartoon food art. All you need to do is add chubby little bodies. That strawberry/tomato looks pretty mischievous. I would eat him first. His muffled screams will delight me almost as much as his flavorful juices.

I suppose that leaves me witht the apple... I am torn as to how I might enjoy her succulent body... My first impulse is to use the gadget in my kitchen drawer that both cores and slices the apple... but it would be over so quick and everyone knows that the longer the fruit stays alive the fresher the juice...

No, I think I will start with some bites to the back the head and work my way around to the front.

I imagine them as animations. I can almost see the facial expressions starting to move.

i think they're all kinda creepy.
but so are the veggie tales.

were you going for creepy?
maybe they're too realistic for me.
lord knows i like my anthropomorphic fruit

There are a couple of the grapes that look like malcontents... are they angry because the other grapes are better or that they resent the foreknowledge of their demise between my teeth.
