Paintings...
I was hoping to see some paintings, and share some as well.
But I can't get my painting picture to a reasonable size for posting. Oh, well. Sorry. |
Resized it, last painting on this page.
|
I think I got lost in the depth of your painting...
Magnificent piece, pinkie. :) |
Blimey. That's wonderful. So much energy. Kind of unselfconscious and free. I like it a lot!
|
Wow!! Replies!
Thank you so much. It's so big I had to shrink it. I wish I could post a bigger version. I'll resize another one and add it too.

Wow! Those are some really great images. I especially like the "red period" as it seems to have a very tone-on-tone quality that sort of adds a three-dimensional quality to the work.
|
Thank you. I was considering taking some close up shots and posting them so you get an idea of the texture of the paintings. It would also give a better idea of how big they are.
My red period comment was referring to all of them . The dartboard one is three dimensional. :D |
wow you like red ;)
thats some cool stuff you got there. |

interesting work, pinkie.
nice paint handling and I like the object imagery in a non-objective color field. thanks... |
Hey, thank you ARTelevision. I was looking at your journal drawings and enjoyed your intricate pattern structure, and organic designs. My personal favorite was the goat. You must have amazing patience.
|
Wow, you're right! The close-ups bring a whole new element to these pieces. And, yes, I was referring to the dartboard piece earlier...sorry for any confusion. :)
|
That's okay. Thank you. I have more, but I thingk that's all I'm going to share for now. Perhaps I'll show some of my portraits and other stuff later on.
I really appreciate all the feedback. :) |
The bull ya' mean? thanks!
|
Yes! The bull... I almost said bull the first time.
Anyway, good stuff, very alive. |
RED. You use a lot of RED in your work.
The last painting above is very cool. Thanks for posting these. |
Damn you are very talented
|
Thank you so much for saying that. :) :) :)
powerclown - yes, red is my favorite color. |
Why Pinkie, I didn't know you're a nifty painter?! :)
I really like painting nr 4 what's it called?! |
Thanks, Nancy.
I always refer to that as the "gun" painting. |
The gun is great
|
What is it about red that causes you to make it so dominant in your paintings Pinkie? All your work seems to be very powerful because of the red.
Good work! |
Thank you! I love red. Red is so full of passion. I'm a passionate person... :)
|
totally diggin' this piece........great colours......
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/attachm...tid=5563&stc=1 all of your paintings are good pinkie........this one just stuck out at me more. |
I come back to these, pinkie. The blood red is so powerful. I am drawn also to the mix of biomorphic and mechanomorphic imagery. A lot of nature/culture and the human experience of it here.
Thanks again. |
Thank you Art. I always appreciate your comments. It's all in the wrist. ;)
I can't wait to actually have the space I need to work in the scale I want to. |
Errr, definitely interesting, but I'm afraid they aren't my style. I prefer things that look like something other than paint dumped on a canvas.
|
Definitely Art. I prefer the less colourful ones. They'd look good on a sci-fi/fantasy book cover.

I don't consider myself cultured enough to intelligently comment on art, but I know what I like, and I definitely like this. Great job Pinkie.
