Horsey picture(s)

Here's a horsey picture I did last week. I was going to turn it into a unicorn impaling a virgin for the contrast thing, but the horse turned out so well I didn't want to ruin it.

If you have some horsey art you've created and wondered where to put it, how 'bout here, in the horsey art thread.

By the way, how do you put lots of pictures in one post?

Great job! I like the way the last one looks like he's got a bit of attitude. You must have studied horsey-techture

In my spare time at work I've been trying to figure out how to solid model one on engineering software (Pro/E). They all end up looking like a pile of boxes.

Model one - wow! They're pretty complex you know. I studied George Stubbs, The Anatamy of a Horse, and looked at a lot of horses before I began to understand. Stubbs is great because his drawings show you how the whole thing is put together.

Good luck!

I really like the colouring on that horse vermin! Did you do it in PS?

oooo... horses are hard.
i've never been able to get the bodies right.

(nice work yet again, lewis.)

this is from a western series for kids that i did for a clothing company that shall remain nameless. they bought all the art work (16 pieces) and only produced two of them.

can anyone guess from whence this was ripped off?

Great horses everyone.

Lewis, I really like that first sketch. They are all great though. The lips and nose on your 4th one are just awesome as well.
