Pencil Portraits

These I made when I was really interested in NIN around winter of last year (sr in high school). The DVD had just come out and I was in love with fragility v2.0 .. So I came up with the idea to draw each of the members, but only got 3 finished, and the third is not near me at the moment, anyway I snapped a few dig pictures and uploaded them to yahoo (warning: I left them huge):

I used a pencil, blender, and one of those gooey erasers

Nice work! I like the style that you used in hthe charlie one. It reminds me of drawings that I used to do. Though, I mostly did women.

SiNai! I love your particular drawing style! Have you done more like this that I might see? *hoping*

Very nice stuff! The dark shading really helps to carry the mood that I tend to get from their music, and the drawings show that you have a grasp on realism and what it entails, although these are a little more stylized (with the exaggerated veins and details), which I think makes for some very, very nice work.

Great! Just be careful not to get into stylising too much, before you have found the truth in what you are drawing.

I saw these before they were moved. Would be nice to have some smaller versions with links to the bigger ones.

They are great work. I always love pencil work. There's something about it that is striking if done right I find.
