Some Rough Sketches

I've always loved art, but I don't have the time to dedicate to it to do anything really serious. But I still 'doodle' on occasion, and thought I'd share theses with you guys.

I'm no artist, and its more of a fun hobby for me, so don't be too harsh. These are both unfinished sketches, so they're nothing too exciting, but I hope you'll appreciate them none the less.

First off, a lovely profile...

And being a big fan of fantasy, I like to draw characters from that world, so here's one, sorry it's only half, I ran out of paper ...

the first one has some manly features, if you don't want manly features i'd probably make all the features below the nose go toward the neck a tad and make the chin smaller, good job otherwise

too bad that you don't have the time to draw because you obviously got some talent there onodrim! I do see some errors in your drawings but you definitely got the basic drawing technique right which is admirable for someone who isn't an "artist"

Hail Onodrim!

The second one looks like you.
Nice work. I can't draw feminine faces to save my life.

Ono, is that second Moraine from Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time?

Why thank you, I'm quite flattered. That wasn't my intent, but if I look that good, cool.

Nope, it's not any character in particular, just came out of my brain. I used to want to be an illustrator for fantasy books though, so that's encouraging that it could be her.

Great drawings! The first has a little too much chin for my liking (Bruce Campbell's daughter?) but the rest of her is perfect. The other character is really good, beautiful!
You draw with the same grace and feminininity as you look.

Well I have paper. I just meant I was too far down on the sheet.

Is this an attempt to get me to come and spend time with you alone in a studio eh?....

Why? Would that work?

Oh, and that's good work, by the way. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

I know what you mean, the paper's never damned big enough once you get going!

The chance to be alone in the studio would be wonderful, but highly unlikely as there's always loads of people around. But ve haff vays of making you draw.....

Looks like video game characters. You might want to try different styles and submit those to some studios.
