so cool! Are you a prof graphic artist or? :D

analinguist 03-12-2004 03:50 PM

looks good wanker. the only suggestion that i would give, if you even want to work more on this piece, is that it seems like there is a lot of information clutter. does the information on the sides fold so that it is hidden if the book is closed? i guess if that were the case it would not be so cluttered, it is hard to tell without printing it and look at it on a book. it looks pretty good tho.

i'm betting with a lot of confidence that the book cover folds very closely to this:

gallopingwanker 03-12-2004 08:30 PM

bernadette, you guessed it, no i'm not a professional, or at least been in the business long enough to be considered that

WarWagon 03-12-2004 10:24 PM

Looks good, I'll have to pick up a copy when its published!

well you should consider being one since you've obviously got some great talent there! are you going to school now or are you working?

gallopingwanker 03-16-2004 09:02 AM

i am going to the School of Advertising Art, in Kettering Ohio right now, i've got 2 months left until my real life begins!

good to hear that you're taking an education in the graphic field. It would be a terrible waste of talent otherwise!

What's your specific prof. title then? A graphic artist or? I've got 3 years yet before I become a media graphic artist, YAY :)

gallopingwanker 03-16-2004 11:37 AM

i'll be graduating with Associates of Applied Business in Advertising Art, which clarifies me as a graphic artist/illustrator according to my learnings :)

Nancy 03-16-2004 12:03 PM

so basically the same as me, nice! Then I've got one to turn to for advice, tips or critics of my future work I hope? :D

gallopingwanker 03-16-2004 12:27 PM

most definitely!

Nancy 03-16-2004 10:56 PM

much appreciated gallopingwanker, you're the best! :D

gallopingwanker 03-17-2004 05:38 AM
