Weekly Activity 28/12 - 3/1 'Distorted Reality'

So people get a moving and do what you can. You've got a week to do it :D At the end of each piece of your art work place an idea for next week. If you wish to keep your idea from the previous week feel free to do so.

Doesn't matter what style you use.. Be it pencil, paint or digital. Either way just have some fun doin it :D

how about extending it to a month, I don't think I'll get much free time this week, and perhaps we'll see more contributions that way too.

ok Sounds good to me Snoogans, Myself am still trying to work out the topic and something to do with it O_o

Dang Nabit Monoxide.. I'm somewhat perplexed on what to do for the title.. O_O I'll keep looking, thinking and creating in my own mind :)

Yes have fun drawing with flash, it's quite a powerful tool when used right :cool:

So I installed Flash, and I love it.
I just might be leaving my beloved MSpaint.

so i just upgraded my adobe illustrator from 8 to CS & i am now motivated to learn to use this application for more than just typsetting. so here's my first drawing with illustrator CS.... and you'll notice that is is indeed all sorts of distorted! ;)

Bernadette, your skill in Illustrator is only matched by your sweetness. I have tried to draw in Illustrator 9 and found it much too difficult. You, however, obviously do not suffer the same limitations. I love the shadow detail.

Giant Hamburger, as always I am deeply impressed with your work. I'm eager to see what Flash will help you create.

I'm ambivalent to the next subject. Lizards, friendships, relationships with reptiles in general, it matters not. I will officially suggest Tentacles; something with tentacles would be quite nice. That is because I have an old mspaint image related to the subject.

I think I may be too late for my entry but here goes. I've left MSPaint for some watercolour paint for this one. Snoogans and GH are doing great with the flash but I think im gonna stick to what I do best with the paint. For now. Enjoy my distorted reality. Copied off of a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon but I painted it.

GH, illy is not a right brained friendly application i fear. she is one that we have to study a bit to understand (not always my forte, employing that left side), but i am going to force myself to go through the tutorials. i really like the cleaniness of vector drawing as opposed to the rasterized photoshop kinda drawing, same as you're finding in flash.
