Hmm. Not a lot of native American script inspirations, other than Mayan and Sequoyah.
Check out these fonts (on the internet. Try fontfreak.com): Bad Acid Cretino Flat Earth Scribe Dark Crystal Herman Decanus and Black Chancery I ran through my fonts with "Dzeel" and those were the ones that looked best to me. (I quoted it because I used that capitalization.)

i go to <a href="http://www.1001fonts.com/">1001 fonts.com</a> to get fonts. they have a cool 'type your own text' thing that enables you to see what your word would look like without having to download anything. if you like it, downloads are free.
the only drawback is that they've got a bunch of pop-ups. if you've got google's toolbar or any other kind of pop-up blocker it's a fantastic site...

www.fontmagic.com has a good selection and is fast.
www.fontfile.com also has some good fonts, but it slow as molasses for me, and you have to click too much to download a font.
