Great work! My favorite is the coffee mug one, but all of them are pretty cool. It would be interesting to visit that cafe and see which logo would fit it best...

I like the coffee mug too, it was obvious what it was from the context, but took a second to realize the angle... A good logo captures the eye like that

I'd have to know the background of the cafeteria first.. What crowd you're appealing to and all that But yeah the coffee mug looks good, I like the crossiant one and the one witht the fancy lettering in it. If it was a health cafe maybe the one with the man.. but over all very groovey

when given the project, we had the option to change the look/appeal the business will give out, so instead of a boring little delicatessen, i gave it a more modern look for the first one..a more fancy look for the second...a look that would appeal to younger people and also has a modern look for the third, and the fourth one was giving it the more "cafe" and laidback look....there ya go!

Very interesting!

Even before you explained your reasoning for each piece, I think that the logos were strong enough visually to communicate the message.

As always, great work!

nice work it's one of the hardest things to make a logo that is simple yet eye-catching and you did a real nice job capturing both!!

I like the third best. A little off-topic and catches your attention.

i disagree completely with mb99usa..the 3rd one looks too much like the cingular dude to hold its weight. the last one has the strongest iconic logo to it. the design is quite minimal, but really effective. i think that your font treatments seem to cohere to you logo, but i would play with the kerning and balance your letters out a little bit more. logos are tough, they require the biggest attention to detail, you have to be anal as hell with every space. make sure everything is perfectly spaced and aligned right. for example, on the first one, the a in garducci doesn't line up with the d in deli vertically. the space under the d and the u seems a bit too large, there is nothing for it to rest on.

the font used in the last one kind of bothers me, but it screams coffee shop, which is really the whole point. plus the spacing seems a bit tighter on it... A for number 4.

I drew the 3rd one not thinking about the cingular logo, it was brought to my attention when i was done that it looked similar, but it's different enough for me to not worry. there is a couple little thing i need to change about them, but not much. i got a 99 on it, so it's okay
