My Dad's Paintings
While home last fall I snapped a few shots of the paintings my dad has done. These are photos taken of pictures hanging on my parents walls. The lighting is awful and the photos really don't do justice to the paintings. He swears he's not an artist, I think he's nuts.

Some watercolors, some oil and some acrylic. Not sure exactly which are which but I know the Golden Gate bridge in the fog is oil, I was still home when he did it. I think the one with two parrots is acrylic and many of the rest might be watercolors. Again I'm just not sure. I do know the photos don't do them justice.

these are nice, my favourite is the 5th one with the butterflies, it has the most freedom of brush stroke to me.

The bridge is my favorite. Remarkable work, shame he doesn't see the talent.

These are all good, but the bridge and the butterflies are exceptional.

As a bird lover, I very much appreciate his subject matter. These are great!

Not really. I can take a chainsaw and a chunk of wood and turn it into something that looks like a bear, fish or bird. I've dinked around with drawings and stuff most of it doesn't look anything like art.
