House training your p'thoodlhu is an important life-lesson, that sets the foundation for preventing other inappropriate behavior. Crate training is the most effective housebreaking method. But leaving a p'thoodlet in a crate too long, forcing in-crate sacrifices, and not dedicating adequate hunt time will defeat the purpose of using a crate. In this case you may need a long-term confinement area. Do not forget to reinforce gates and electrify fences.
