Thanks for the info uptown, I absolutely love candles. If I had the option I'd light one at work but that'd be weird and oddly I've only used candles when I'm with someone super special to me.....ok off topic, but thank you for the link/code

I love candles... have a lovely gingerbread jar candle burning next to me....
If you are a jar candle lover.. .be sure to pick up a candle cover for the jar - they are pretty inexpensive (under 10 bucks) and makes a world of difference in the candle - the candle burns cleanly - no soot in the jar - and it burns evenly.. so you don't waste money by tossing out the jar when it still has a lot of wax left but it just doesnt burn anymore...

I love candles. Doesn't matter what kind: votive, pillar, jar, taper, whatever. The jar candles are probably my favorite since I don't have to worry about my cat messing with it. I actually just got a lamp cover that fits any size jar a few months ago at my bridal shower. And it does everything Maleficent says. I haven't thrown away extra wax in my jar candles since.

Love scented candles and have a collection of tea-light using ceramic houses from PartyLites.
Even better than Yankee Candle Co. (which I spent a fortune at) are Lang jar candles. Sheer heaven! They're mostly sold in specialty shops, their scents are stronger and they burn just as well as Yankee Candle. (Am I the only one who, when she gets down to that last inch or so, warms the jar, pulls it out and remelts it with a wick into another jar?)

We had a blackout last week that lasted for somewhere near 24 hours, so during the night I was actually able to use some of these candles. One of the very first times I've used a candle without someone special with me. aww.. anyways, while I was a little, ok a lot scared that it was so dark, the candles smelled so sweet......
