*Ahem* Okay, what is a "nice" penis, I can address that, I've seen a few.

In my opinion, a nice penis would be one with the following characteristics:

Head larger than the body of the penis, larger enough so one can see a clear profile. This is especially nice (for me anyway) if you can feel the head going in seperately from the rest. I suspect this may have been what your female friends were referring to (?). It just feels good, to me anyway.

Good proportions of length vs. width, well-formed look. Not too skinny or fat, etc. I've seen some that had kind of a "blobby" unformed look, wasn't into that.

Nice sturdy construction, doesn't taper too much towards the head, which always looks kind of odd to me.

It's good to see some veins or other evidence of "strength" and ability to do the job at hand - a smooth, innocuous-looking penis seems like it might peter out or be wimpy somehow. On the other hand a huge bush of hair growing off the thing is a little too "manly" for my personal taste.

Not warty or too wrinkly, not too bent/crooked. A little crooked is fine but a lot looks disturbing. If it bends down dramatically for example, one suspects it might poke in all the wrong places.

Skin tone not too dark in comparison to the rest of the body - some difference is completely normal but sometimes they are so much darker they look like they came off a different person.

Nicely proportioned to the rest of the body - i.e. a short stubby penis looks strange on a tall skinny guy, and vice versa. Nature is generally kind on this regard but there are always those exceptions that make you wonder.

That's it for now I guess...I'll be curious to see if the other women agree with me. :D

In my opinon, there aren't too many not "nice" penises. I personally like them to be uncut, maybe a little rosy in colour, but not bright or anything. Being a good size works well, where they're not huge and not tiny. Erect tends to be nice...

As long as it looks healthy and clean, then it's most likely going to appeal.

Goodness, am I horribly abnormal because I really have never thought about this? A nice penis is one that's attached to the guy I love, and/or attached to a guy who knows how to use it. Otherwise, frankly they're all funny-looking.

The proper way to judge the aesthetic appeal of a penis is not appearence, but by how it feels and behaves when it is in one's mouth.

I've seen a couple of okay-looking penises, but only a couple of fabulous ones. Fabulous. Proportioned, as Squishor has described, but the head about the same size as the shaft (I don't like the head to be too big or too small). Balls also in proportion to the penis. (I've seen some balls that have hung so low that it looked like the guy's sac was straining to hang on to them. That was distracting.) Generally pointing outward, not noticeably down or up... that's limiting to the kinds of positions that work. Not too veiny looking, except for maybe one big one to show that the member has substance :lol:. But on that point, even the most fabulous penis I've seen had its days where a lot of veins were visible. Oh yeah, and not too squishy. Some of them are a little squishy even when they're erect.

Gilda's right, too. When I'm going to be seeing a lot of a particular penis, I like to make friends with it first... so it's better if it's playful. And nice to pet and kiss. My vagina and one of those fabulous penises were fast friends and shared a lot of late-night conversations. :)

the penis comes in all shapes and sizes . . . it is the variances that add interest. Unless it is Grotesquely disfigured in an accident . . . i'm bound to call it 'nice' :D

I like them uncut myself, but that is not to say that cut isn't also attractive to some extent . . . and i'm going to echo the healthy 'rosy' color that was noted above.

As far as size . . . it doesn't nessasarily matter, but too big IS a problem (aka, over 8-9 inches). I like them in the 6-7 inch range and a little wide, but not too much in width.

The most perfect one I ever saw was perfectly straight, not very dark and about 10 inches long and(making a fist here), maybe 2 inches +/- thick(top to bottom)?. Head wasn't overly larger, just enough so to give it that profile. That's the technical end of the response.

Anyhow yeah, if the head is too big it's not "nice looking" either. There's an in-between point where the proportions look just right to me. And as for the balls, I like them neat and not too terribly large. Like those on my boyfriend, they're absolutely perfect. Here here, Sweetpea. Yes, the only significant penis in my life is one that curves lustily to his right side when he's hard. I prefer straight, about 7-ish inches - I am NOT a fan of the overly endowed, that hurts - I'm more used to cut, so cut it is, not that there's a thing wrong with uncut!... I like the rosy-color idea, that's nice, and one, maybe two veins, nothing over done. I agree with the shaft needing to not thin out one way or the other... and I do like the head to have a profile, but not be bloated. Love the hardness factor - it should feel like velvet-wrapped steel. And yes, balls and hair should be nice, present, but not overdone... The key here is proportion. As long as it's all in proportion, and yes, not attached to a dick (ha, ha).

Every girl has a different opinion. I've always despised questions like this: What is a nice [insert body part here]? Everyone is different, and hence, has different likes and dislikes. It seems obvious. Just accept a compliment and don't think too deeply into what it means, jeez.

It's like me asking that guy what "nice" boobs are. He might answer that he likes C-cup boobs or something. But there are plenty of guys that also consider an A-cup "nice" too. Sorry, thats just to put it into context.

Exactly! There's no real definition of a "perfect" penis. It's a matter of taste :)

I agree that there's no "perfect" penis but the guy asked a pretty specific question and it seemed like he was looking to cull some opinions and figure out what's "nice" about his. Not everyone is confident enough to just sit back and bask in the satisfaction of knowing they have a "nice" one without wondering what that might actually mean. I'm sure he himself has some "nice" qualities or else the women wouldn't have complimented him at all; they'd be saying "gotta go now." So I thought the nice thing to do would be to accomodate the request and I actually thought it was kind of an interesting question in a way, since we so often hear talk of size but not much else.

Most that I've seen are "Nice". There's only be a few that just looked out of place or odd. As Squishor mentioned, if it tapers a lot and the last inch or two is more of a sharp point, it just doesn't look comfortable. Also one that was narrow and only 2" long when hard - that one didn't look that odd but I felt silly cause I could hardly feel it. For the most part I like lots of different kinds. It's funny but the "looks" of the guys penis is usually consistent with the rest of him. If that makes any sense. Angle doesn't matter too much. Hubby's likes to bend to the left some too but it's not a sharp angle.

I do like how the profile looks and the veins bulging but they're not necessary for me to be turned on. Just added benefits.

umm and as for me...i like thick enough so your fingers dont get to overlap, a few shades..but no more-darker then his normal skin tone, the head SLIGHTLY bigger then the shaft, aprox the same size all teh way to the bottom, balls that hang only slightly and are well shaped, anywhere from 6-9 inches in lenth, VERY firm, and some veins when erect but not too many...like not so it looks all creepy bumpy ..but enough for you an enjoy the friction, a nice smell..slightly musky but never like slimly smelling..., oh and i like my boys uncut :)

Penises are suppose to be darker than the rest of the body. The skin is very delicate and when exposed to sun it'll change colour more rapidly than the rest of the skin. It's a natural thing.

Personally I prefer dark penises.. they just seem more.. masculin and bestial in some way, RAWR! :love:

I'm the one who brought up the coloring issue so I feel like I should clarify - I meant those penises who are quite a bit darker than the rest of the body, not normal ones with (naturally) a couple shades darker color. If they have no coloring, they look anemic and that's not very exciting. Of course, variety is the spice of life and all that but some are just waaay darker, that's all.

Ah, well, I haven't been with too many men who are not Caucasian - just the luck of the draw, I suppose. And I think it's a given that if you're darker, or have gold undertones instead of red ones, well of course we think think it should match! I have known some rather incredibly beautiful non-Caucasians, and they had lovely schlongs to match. Quadro's on a Latino guy would look pretty funny and not good. :p
