Agreed, onesnowyowl (is it okay if i shorten that to OSO?)... you should be able to use the Patch the exact same way - just never be off for that week. and if you're never off... you're never nauseous, right? It's a theory, anyway. Even if you guys are on University health insurance, you CAN go to outside doctors - trust me, I did when I was in school. So feel free to check out a GYN outside if you feel the need.
Breakthrough bleeding only occurs when your body needs that 'reset' - or that's what my MD told me, anyway... usually nothing a liner can't handle, and OSO is right, it should be fine for that first month at the least.
