I was wondering, thinking about doing this with hubby sometime soon, thought it might be interesting . . .

Any personal stories on this? Thoughts on this?

What experiences has everyone had concerning this??

Nope, never have. We are going to Las Vegas in two weeks though, and have discussed going to a show there. Should that happen, I'll let you know what it was like.

When I worked on Wall Street, I'd occassionally go with some of the guys I worked with -- the male bonding was fun.. the strippers themselves, were a bit on the skanky side (and this was a nicer gentlemen's club. I didn't quite get the attraction.

If you wanna go - -just go -- it's a few hours out of your life.. you will probably want to shower when you are done... but it's something that you can say you did...

I have been many many times with my ex. We went on a pretty regular basis. I loved it then. The girls always paid more attention to me then him anyhow:)

My fiance however has no interest in doing this so we have not gone. It is ok with me. Who knows he might warm up to it someday.

I never have gone to a strip club at all, but I really want to and think it would be tons of fun to go with an SO. I'd love to hear other girls stories of this, and if I have my own to add soon, I will.

Over spring break I will hopefully be going to Las Vegas (keeping fingers crossed) and I'm sure I will have to go to a strip club with my boyfriend. I'm not too excited by the idea, but I'm sure it'll be fun. Maybe we'll compromise..I'll go with him to a strip club and then he goes with me to a male strip club...I have a few months to work on him.

Yeah, ratbastid and I went to a strip club on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Granted, it was a bit of a dive, but I found it kind of boring. The women didn't seem like they were really enjoying themselves (most of them were pretty um...impaired) and frankly, I could see better porn for free. It was fun just to be able to say I'd gone, and I might go back again to a more upscale place, but...meh.

never with a s.o. i went to a male club with some female friends in college but it was a girls night.

i wanted to go to a female club just to say i did but no interest in going alone. my ex wasn't interested and despite male friends swearing they'd take me--still haven't been. my current bf has no interest in strip clubs.

ahh well, i doubt i'm missing a whole lot anyway.

Yep, fair point, sweetpea. But the way I see it, it's about arousal for both of us, and we'd really want to get each other off afterwards - I see it as a mutual turn on.

I've gone, a few times. I didn't really think it was a big deal though. Basically we sat in a bar only there were women getting naked and dancing around a pole up on stage. That was it. *shrug*

I have. Well with my ex boyfriend. When we were together, we went on a holiday to Cairns. This was cool, however he told me we were going to a nightclub. I didnt really want to stay outside on my own, and I was wanting a drink anyway, so I went inside. Didnt interest me that much, but it interested him. We had one drink then left. :p

I would love to take him but he thinks I'd be too jealous of naked women surrounding him. I just want to take him to let him enjoy seeing me getting all worked up about another girl.

I've been to a few in Dallas Tx. with SO & a few of his friends & their ladies. Had a great time and simply loved the dancing and erotic strip teases. It was a high class club with several very cute bartenders and the music & lights were top shelf. In truth, it was waaay more fun than the parties at Chippendales - across the street - with my girlfriends. The guy dancers were too into themselves and danced like wimps (most of them were gay) at least according to the staff. Go and do it. Why not? You might learn a few moves :)

I am very into the strip club scene. I go with my guy as much as we can afford to go. My experience has been that when there are girls in the audience the dancers pay more attention to them than they do to the guys.

A close friend of mine used to be a dancer. I went to a local club with her a couple of times. Unfortunately, the nicer club in town had closed & this one was a little seedy, as were the dancers. We never stayed that long either time. While I've been to a few female strip clubs with friends, I have yet to go with my current man. Maybe if a better quality place opened...

I've gone with my husband and some of his friends a few times. I had a great time. I brought more girls to the table than they did. hehe I've only had 1 bad experience. We went to a totally nude club and I left my purse sitting in my chair. I know, bad move on my part. While I was visiting the dress shop, a girl sat down in my chair and asked my husband if he wanted a lap dance. He said "No, thank you. Not right now." Apprarently that really pissed her off. She kept trying to get him buy a lap dance, but he kept refusing. She left the table in a huff. When I got back my money (all of $40) and my drivers license was gone. Hubby knew one of the managers and he had him go check the dressing room. Guess what he found? My driver's license in her purse. She got fired right then. But, I digress.... Other than that 1 bad experience, I've had a great time going to a strip club with my husband. I think it's more fun when you go with a group of people. As long as you know what the deal is...they are there to make money, you are there to have fun, everything will be fine. And don't believe it when they tell you that there is no sex in the VIP room LOL That is interesting to watch. Have fun!!!

I have been to a strip club with someone that could be considered a "SO." This is something that I am going to highly recomend if both parties are comfortable with it. After a couple of joint lap dances, I think that you will agree

I just got back from Las Vegas and didn't go to a strip club per se, but we did go to an "erotic show" which was basically women dancing topless on stage, and one woman did some acrobatics with some long sheet things, hard to explain but it was incredible. There were no lap dances, etc. However, I enjoyed it for the most part and would probably go to a regular one if my hubby wanted me to.

I went with some guy friends one night. It was a lot fun. Pretty amazing what those girls can do with those poles. I went with my hubby (when we were just dating) and a bunch of his friends one night. That was fun but we didn't really spend much time together so it was pretty much like hanging out with the guys. Which is how I'd rather leave it anyway. I'd do it again, I think it's best as one of those spur of the moment type things.
