Mailing Intimate Items at Christmas
Just wondering, with the volume of mail that gets delivered, have people already mailed their Christmas gifts and cards? How many of you actually send intimate items to loved ones/friends/spouses in the mail? The only thing that I have managed to do is to send off half my Christmas cards, and pay 2x the value of a dvd for mailing one to my sister in Vancouver, plus send my panties to Pinkie, who lives in the US.
What are you guys mailing? |

As far as what I would think of intimate items, I wouldn't mail those to anyone. Someone on the internet, my Grandma, my boyfriend, nobody. If someone wants my undies they have to take them physically from me But I'll be sending out a few Christmas cards, and maybe some cookies. Not sure on that just yet. Cards will be going to Canada, Virginia, West Virginia and New Jersey.

90 percent of Cards are done and mailed (probably the biggest advantage to spending a lot of time in a hotel room - -gives me time to do that crap)
This weekend I have to get out a box to a really good friend in Washington State, a really good friend in Louisiana and a special box for my friend in Looozy's son. That stuff will be going priority mail, just so it makes it there by christmas.

In the US, there's really only pennies difference between sending stuff first class and priority. Express mail is super expensive, so that I wouldn't really ever use.
Parcel Post is the cheapest way to go, but I swear that goes by way of Antartica. I'm still waiting for stuff that I ordered on Thanksgiving to arrive. I could have walked to and from the manufacturer faster. Parcel Post isn't worth the money.

i dunno, i was out of the loop. I've been laid up for a while, because i had to go in for a biopsy on my right breast. Um, but ya, it's harmless, but judging from the post i read in there, it was distasteful to somebody who had the ability to lock threads.

I've had to mail pictures to people twice in the past week and the freakin post office lines were horrible both times. I even went in the middle of the damn day! So I don't recommend mailing anything right now if you can avoid it!

I sent an Ebay item on Monday to GA (I'm in WA at the moment) via regular mail, and it got there Thursday. So even the regular mail isn't slow this Christmas. Needless to say I was impressed!

I dont see how that was different than exchanging addresses for FA's christmas cards OR the postcard exchange program...which, as evidenced by my now very cool post card collection, a LOT of people particiated in
/all Im saying on the subject
