Inspired by the 'where are the ladies' thread ... I thought I'd get something a bit lighter but still interesting going in here ...
(..and I'm going to cheat and post mine later ) So - what do you hope to recieve this holiday season? Be as specific or abstract as you wish ... and post pics if you can!

And Season 3 I've mentioned those to my sisters. Jen might come through for me, but Holly will probably get me a gift certificate. Which works too My parents - well, my Dad has already said "We're getting you what you usually get" which is usually some money and whatever little things my Mom picks up. Usually some bath stuff. Always good. Most likely money from Grandma. Money is always the right size and color From my boyfriend? Well, I'm not thinking of what I'd like from him. That way I won't be thinking "Gee I'd really love that 5 carot diamond necklace." And that way it'll be something I won't expect. If that makes any sense! And dear Muffin Face, if you're reading this, I don't want a 5 carot diamond necklace. 3 carots is just fine

Dear Santa:
I would like: Bose Sound Dock or a good quality/low cost sewing maching, I am getting the martha stewart crafty bug - -and want to make quilts and stuff. What I will end up getting is a book from my brother, which is good/ Some useless crap that my sister has bought at one of those warehouse stores that just sits in my front hall closet. and something really meaningful from my closest friend. That's the one that matters. I am very difficult to buy for because if I want something, I will get it myself. Cash I hate as a gift because it's impersonal. If my family wasn't so damned irritating at Thanksgiving, I'd have just said that no gifts please, just make a donation to.... one of three charities that I believe in and be done with it.

Well, I've put a Jeep Wrangler, a laptop, and a three bedroom house with a huge yard every year, but wouldn't you know, never got `em
My more realistic wish list: I once had the whole set in separate books, but Mom sold a bunch of my books a few years back, and for some odd reason, split the series up. Arg. Anyway, this is all of them, together in one book. Rock. Belara perfume...yummy. Season 7 of Buffy...then I'd just need season 5 of Angel (which comes out in February, I think) to complete the collection Also, gift certs to Hausfield's Spa ...that would be superawesometastic.

Well, if I got this:
I'd be the happiest girl on the planet. Of course, I don't have a honey's ear to whisper this in, so 99.999999999% not gonna happen. But my parents DID surprise me with a dog for christmas once, so you never know. This cd: A painting of an iris, such as this: Or anything from this store:

Oh, and relax on the spelling, for christ sake not everyone is well versed in the French language. Obviously I don't think you're male. Anyway For me, I like the form of the necklace. How it's open and well... shiny. I'm a girl, I like shiny things.

I think the crucifix is pretty - -I love garnets and i love the curves of the crucifix - it's very feminine... Is it white gold or silver? I swear I can't tell the difference... Diamonds are a girls best friend...

Hmmm...what do I want for christmas
Something that comes in a small box, is very pretty and shiny, and..a bit expensive. Yep, you guessed it, jewelry! The boyfriend keeps insisting he will by me a shiny, silver toaster I don't have anything specific in mind, because like Averett said, this way I can be surprised. He's always had pretty good taste. |

Oh, so much to wish for!
Aside from world peace and an end to poverty and suffering, I'd like a nice mp3-player and the Aubrey/Maturin books by Patrick O'Brian. Hopefully I'll get gift certificates to the Opera like last year from my parents! |

Amonkie, you rock!!!!! I LOVE birds, hubby and I want a cockatoo, too! Or maybe a sun conure....
Hmmmm...I usually not picky about what I get for Christmas, hubby thinks I'm difficult to shop for but thats because he never gets things I want I love bath stuff, books, clothes, jewelry, typical girlie stuff. I DID mention to hubby that I want a sewing machine though. My dad will get us something nice for our house though, because we are finally getting around to decorating it.

haha YES!
I wanted it the first time that I saw it, and that's rare for me. Well, I do have a pretty nice sized movie collection already but I never usually see a movie and think "I WANT that!" be sure to check the end of the credits for an extra scene if you haven't already. good stuff.

I can't post pics so I will have to describe the $3500 Pink Sapphire ring...which I will never get in a million years but a girl can dream. A large princess cut light pink stone with a diamond on each side and a platinum band with small diamonds in it. Ok I am not pretentious.
A car. Any car really. One that can drive over 55mph. Oh and a new job. I live in a fantasy world. Really being with my man is enough for me. Since we live so far apart that is all I really want. |

the only thing i really want is this journal
pretty sure i'm getting it. aside from that, prolly lots more stuff i don't really need but will have to find room for. i wouldn't mind the stampin up stardust rubber stamp set but don't think i've mentioned it to anyone so prolly won't be getting that. i'm more excited about the gifts i've gotten everyone else than what i'll be getting! i have really outdone myself this year...everyone is gonna be thrilled with their presents! you know that great feeling you get when you find the perfect present for someone and you just can't wait to tell them? i've been walking around like that for weeks now! i just want to give everyone their gifts now and have them give them back christmas eve so i can wrap them and put them under the tree lol |
