Lump came out?!
So, this happened a long time ago, and it prompted me to start birth control very soon after.
One day, I was going to the bathroom, and suddenly I wiped away some blood. Along with the blood plopped a little ball of...I dunno what...that had some blood around it, and was a little bit fiberous (?). Immediately, the first thought my boyfriend and I had was that it could have been some sort of very early miscarriage. Does this sound plausible? |
Sounds quite plausible to me, and I had the same experience once or twice. I heard a statistic once, I forget the numbers but the gist of it was that way more pregnancies end in early miscarriage than people realise.

I would see a doc. Was it painfull at all? I thought miscarriages were supposed to be painful.
|
Was it not a clot? I know my periods are quite clotty. It's entirely possible that it was a spot of menstrual tissue.
|
Yep, miscarriages are usually pretty painful - like really severe period pains. You'd know if you were having one. And if you do, you'd be wise to see your doctor in case you need to have a curette.

when your body releases the actual egg that you are carrying it is surrounded in something like you are describing.
also your uterus rejects about 50% (i think) of the fertilized gametes that make it there. if it wasn't very painful and such i wouldn't worry about it that much |
Sounds like a harmless blood clot...
|
hmm..i agree..its probably just a blood clot...lol i tend to get some pretty scary looking ones..i used to be worried about it but my gyno kinda gave me a pat on the head and told me not to be silly :)
|
Yes I agree it was a blood clot too.
|
I think it was along the lines of 2 out of 5 miscarriages go unnoticed. There is usually a little more cramping then normal and obviously clots and other matter that will be discharged. If this is something that happened recently, you can go and have your blood drawn and have your hormones checked at the doc's office, if you wanted to know for sure. Otherwise, just relax and remember all things happen for a reason. I can't say that sounds like anything more then a bloodclot, but I'm not a doctor. If you want to find out, just call and make an appointment.

Aren't we the lucky gender? guys don't get to have stuff falling out of their bodies day to day...
