Instead menstrual cups
Some people were talking about wanted info about menstrual cups in the "Guys and Blood" thread.
Here ya go... Instead Cups They work well as an alternative to pads or tampons but they are NOT a birth control device  |
Wow, thanks :) I've been wondering about those ever since they were mentioned in my thread. Have you used them?
Yup, I've used them. They look huge when you take them out of the package, but after a couple minutes you can't really feel them.
If you have ever inserted a diaphram, it's easy - and convenient -- otherwise it takes a little bit of practice...
I liked them. They work well. Cost's a lil more then other girly things.
Historically the "cup" was originally called a pessary and has been around for hundreds of years. Quite popular with hookers in France. Some Places in the USA say they do work as a contraception device.
Do your homework first before you rely on one for birth control.... |
hmm..you mean you can really keep them in during sex? okay now i gotta order one just to try :) thanks :)
so..if they aren't like a sponge or the other anti-baby making stuff.. does that mean there is a chance it could actually trap the semen inside of you? ew..
it looks like a small diaphram - it's not spongey or absorbant -- so i suppose there's a chance it could trap the semem, but at that time of the month, odds of conception are nil.
So, I just bought a three pack (the one where you only have to pay 2.99 for s and h) and I'm excited to try them out... well, when my boobs heal.
i love these things. my only complaint is that they can be a little tricky to use. but they have great customer support who will walk you through the insertion if you need it (i did the first time). once you get the hang of it though, comfy and convienient.

How does it not..spill out?
