Just a rant on the subject of men

Why is it men feel they need to have complete control of every situation? A few men on the board are constantly whining that they cannot post in the Ladies Lounge. Why is this so important to them? Would these same men burst into a women's locker room?

Are we not allowed to have conversations without men butting their opinions in and changing the tone of the thread?

It is strange to me that they are so concerned with what goes on in here.

I thought men didn't like gossip, girl talk, menstration, shopping and PMS.

LOL...I don't think they understand that we have a common experience that they don't share...it's called BEING A WOMAN. Women go through so many things men don't. Only another woman can relate about menstrual cramps, just like a guy can only relate to a guy about getting kicked in the nuts.

I like our little corner. It's comfortable here. :) Girls' night out 7 days a week, twenty-four hours a day. :)

And it's funny that some (one) has such a huge problem with this, they (he) got so incredibly upset when this thread was started. Let's face it, some men act like children.

That's not to say we (women) aren't capable of acting like children... but some (another one) feel that this (a group of women only) isn't reality. I see several "women only" clubs and gyms around my neck of the woods. I've also been in a ladies locker room. I didn't see any men in it...
It's more than that... they are so concerned that they can't comment on the things we say. We are not allowed to have conversations that they can't butt into to.

Three words to the men reading this that have such juvenile issues... get over it. :)

Jadzia... i think you hit the nail on the head... when you said that they can't seem to handle the fact that they are not "allowed" to comment on the things we say...

not to male bash here... but a lot of men seem to be used to going through life like the proverbial "bull in a china shop", with little or no regard for what might be happening as a result of their intrusion. and then it UPSETS them when they are told no.

Funny how sometimes it can be a double standard in a way....guys complain that women gab too much and then turn around and boohoo because we won't let them join! It's a fact that a lot of the guys out there read our posts in here but I am very glad for the fact that they at least have enough respect to keep to the no posting rule. That would completely change our little lounge and I for one like it just the way it is....comfy and our place to come hang!

Well.. tell the men (the man) that if he doesn't like it, why doesn't he create a men's only lounge???

I would imagine that said complainer is about fit to be tied at this point that they cannot comment on this thread.

I have difficulty understanding why anybody would have an issue with not being able to post in ONE place when there are so many other options available to them.

We are but a small group here and we don't ask for much...let it go!

I guess yall forgot how kind and courtoues ICER, TomSmith, even Buddha was when they could post here. They often added to the thread with a point or view that we ladies over looked

I hate to say it, but 3 men out of the ten's of thousands of others who are on the board really don't count.

And to ban ALL MEN for the actions of others, is wrong

But since I don't want to trun this into another rant. I'll just shut up and bear it. even though I don't agree
