sex question
Okay ladies, I have a newbie sex question here and I'd like your advice.
My boyfriend and I just started having sex about a week ago. We are each others firsts. The very first time was painful, but not as bad as I was expecting and there was no blood at all. Everything was going along fine for a few days. Then when we tried to have sex, I felt an almost burning sensation. We figured it might be irritation from the condom or the spermicidal lube that was on it, and laid off for a few days. We decided to try again today and the burning sensation was gone, but this time there was a sort of stabbing pain the deeper he went. We didnt finish, and I noticed that THIS time there was a teeny tiny bit of blood when I wiped after. So, my question is this, basically: What the hell? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Or should I be worried enough to go see a doctor? Thanks, and sorry its so long! |

The stabbing pain you are describing sounded really familiar - so a quick google brought up this...
Endometriosis I'm guessing you're pretty young, but have you ever been to a GYN? Have a problem with painful periods? Painful sexual intercourse Or, in all honestly, it could just be your hymen being broken, he may not have broken it the first time. And the discomfort the first time was a result of not enough lubrication. However, if you are sexual active, I would suggest going to a doctor for birth control options, and to just reassure yourself that you are OK.

Holy shit, Mal! The Endometriosis symptoms in that link sound a lot like me. I've never even considered that I had that. If I've been wasting my money on BC pills all these years when I've been infertile I'm gonna be extremely pissed.
Oh and Untitled- I have no idea what could be causing a stabbing pain unless he didn't get all the way thru the hymen the other 2 times. There definitely shouldn't be any blood after penetration unless he's being way too rough.
