I've been dating Greg700 for about six months now and we on average have sex at least twice a day. There are days like last night however when we can do it six times a night.:D
So I wonder how many times or how often everyone else gets lucky!!;)

I like to have it as much as possible, BUT my boyfriend lives kinda far away from me so I don't get as much as I would like.

When I do get it though it's the best!!

Geeze... my bf lives 4 hours away and we get to see each other at most every weekend tho it's been usually two weeks between visits. We've gone 6 weeks once and that SUCKED, but it had to be done cause of college classes and cars in the shop. That is just SEEING EACH OTHER!! As for sex, well sexual contact. Try looking back on when you did have sex... Did you like it then? If so look for the same type of situations... maybe you are quite particular in the way you want it. Or if you didn't like it then examine that too. Was he too agressive, too timid. Learn from these shortcomings and look for guys who don't have them. Also make it worth something to you. Having sex just to have sex makes it more routine. As has been stated before, quality is better than quantity. Even a guy can agree with that simply by examining masterbation. He could masterbate every day and get a really weak orgasim each time. Or he could have sex once or twice a week that could blow his mind along with other things. I think most all of us women go through periods in our life when our desire for sex wanes... especially as we get older. Our kids, hormonal shifts, stress, etc... they all play a part in it.

I went through a spell where sex was the very LAST thing on the planet that i wanted. Over time, my husband and i worked it through. It took a little bit of patience... a lot of communication... some creativity and the willingness to take some risks on my part... and my husbands undying patience and understanding.

You asked for suggestions?... this is such a tough one, becuase we are all so different, and needless to say, sex is such an intimate and personal thing... but here's what helped me:

When i felt desire-less... the thought of having to "perform" put a lot of stress on me. I so very much wanted to "be more" for my husband... and my own perceived "failure" was almost painful for me. My desire simply wasn't there.
We started really small... lots and showers and baths together... massages... stuff like that. Our rule was really simple -- lots of intimacy... no sex. Amazing how much that took the pressure off of me. After a little while... my comfort zone increased and my desire returned.

I know that's not that world winning advice... but it's something to try... if nothing else, you and your parnter remain close and intimate... the actual "sex" stuff can be worked out over time.

I'm finding your reponses really interesting, as some of you seem younger and you remind me of back in the day when 2-3 times a night was the norm for me & my bf.

It's true about going thru cycles in your life that affect sex; two real biggies are the birth of children and ill health or surgery. Commitment & compassion towards one's partner really help during those times.

Anyway, to the question of how often I get lucky, well as much as I want. I am 43 now and for the past 2-3 years I've been a giant horn dog! I want it whenever, where ever. My husband, who is my age as well, seems to have slowed down- a lot. Ninety percent of the time it's me that initiates sex. Because of his schedule, he never gets enough sleep, and therefore I show him mercy once in a while :) but it's difficult sometimes. I end up masturbating 2-3 times on some days and tho' that's still fun, I prefer the warmth of his body.
