Just curious?
My guy friend and I have talked extensively about what guys initially look for when trying to hit on the opposite sex! For me Its all about confidence because even the ugliest guy can look sexy with a healthy dose of cockiness. Likewise a guy that is too cocky or self centered can look ugly or undesirable. He says for a guy First its looks then confidence for the same reasons! I am curious to know what is your opinion ......
What do you look for intially that is attractive about the opposite sex? Is Society really superficial? Don't go too in depth! Idon't mean for long term or short term relationships. I just mean in general. |

Okay, walking down the street...the first thing that draws me to a guy is...dun dun dun...his nose! Why?! I have no idea but an ugly nose with bumps and stuff....its hard for me to look at.
But, in a scenario like school/work/ etc where I get a chance to meet and know people, definitely HUMOR. If you can make me laugh, I already have a crush on you (girl or guy).

A great smile gets me everytime. Other than that - what attracts me is intelligence, quick wit, confidence, kindness and humor - nothing better than a guy who can make you laugh!

First eye catcher, his smile and eye contact. After that he must be intelligent, confident, honest, humorous, and a good listener.

height and build. wide shoulders will send me packing every time, as will someone who is TOO handsome. (I had trouble w/ the guys in HS from the swimteam) Positive traits for me are someone who looks... quiet. introverts attract me. Probably since I'm so much of one, myself.

In a social situation a guy who is shy and mysterious would have just attracted me to him, I would have wanted to get to know him better.

Definately smile and eyes. Smile shows that they are they are comfortable in showing somewhat some sort of emotion, And eyes are suppose to be 'a door way to the soul' or so is said. After that physically I look for butt- needs a good butt. And broad shoulders. I like them somewhat built but nothing too dramatic. Long hair definately is a turn on for me, that is if it's well kept and looks good on them. Mentally- I'm like some one smart, funny and easy to communicate with.

Most attractions are initially physical attractions, and I think that's perfectly fine as long as he's also emotionally atttractive. What catches my eye is usually his sense of style. If he knows how to dress himself and style his hair, has good personal hygeine and all that, then I'm definitely going to be interested into learning more about him and his mind and personality.

I am so attracted to intelligence it scares me sometimes. IF a guy can teach me something he has got my sttention. At first glance though I like a guy who carries himself well.

The first thing I notice about any person is their eyes and also their smile. I've found via my ejumacation and personal experiences that you can really tell quite a bit about a person via their eyes.
But everyone notices somethin' different
