hmmmmmm....what?(spotting?)
Okay Ladies... I need your advice. I have a rather irregular period, have since I got it. It's never very close together, the irregularity is more in that it doesnt come every month, every other month, ect ect. Anyways, I had my period about a week/2 weeks ago. And last night I started getting some brown discharge. It's light, it's been about half an ounce in the last 24 hours. Some of it is...semi clumpy, tissue like. I'm wondering if this is just left-overs from my period?
Possibly important info: I live with my girlfriend and her cousin. They both got their period about 5 days ago. I normally sync up with people if I'm around them long enough, and it's clear that they have synced up. So I'm wondering if that has anything to do with anything? Thanks ladies! |

I have no idea. Sounds like something you might want to talk to your family doc about. Probably nothing to really worry about, especially since you're so irregular, unless you're having pain with it.

My "stomach" has hurt a couple times in the last couple days and I remember thinking it felt like early cramps, not bad just that general "ugghh abdomen hurt" for a few minutes then it goes away. But i also just had it, so I didn't think much of it. I don't have a family doctor, but there is a doctor/nurse up at my school if I need them.
As for other pain, no. It doesnt hurt, its not getting heavier, its pretty much the same. |

I had spotting like that after periods...my periods were weird too, came at odd times. Eventually I got it checked out and I had an ovarian cyst. I had to get one of my ovaries removed. You should get it checked out.

I can’t send private messages... not enough posts yet.
Unfortunately I don’t know a lot about ovarian cysts... I had one; it wouldn’t stop bleeding because I take blood thinners for another health issue. Had I visited my doctor sooner she could have saved my ovary. go to the doctor, tell her your symptoms and figure it out. Also I’d recommend not having sex until your doctor says it’s ok. Sorry i cant be more helpful |

..........Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddd It's back. It was gone for about 5 days - a week, and it's back. Not sure how many days it's been now, but it's back. Some pain, not extreem, not constant. Now what? I'm gonna go to the school nurse in an hour and see what she says. *le sigh* My uterus is stupid.

Since your period is irregular, I doubt you're taking any, but are you on any birth control? Spotting is a common side-effect...
I hope the nurse has some good advice for you!
