Amazing. Apply a thick coat on wet nail polish. Within 10-20 minutes, your nails feel and look like glass. I can do my nails at night and not wake up with sheet prints in the morning. Sally's has it. I've also seen it in CVS and Publix. It used to be sold only in salons but I think the word is spreading. Regarding cost, anywhere from $8 - $13. Depends on where you go. But it's deffo worth it. |

Aveeno Positively Smooth shave gel. It works. It's all natural. No bumps, no chemicals. I use it everywhere. |
Cetaphil non-foaming cleanser. It's a fantastic make-up remover.
Crushed aspirin (add to Cetaphil, make a scrub, leave on as a masque) |

Has fixed every single lip issue I've ever had... Lip, though, not cold sore. Makes them incredibly smooth and soft. I put it on at night and wake up cracks healed, no flakes and stuff in the winter time. And healed sunburn after about two days. Kicks windburn, too. |
Aveeno Shave Gel, The Body Shop Hemp Lip Protector.. both are AWESOME. The hemp lip balm is soooo moisturizing.
Also Bath and Body Works My Favorite Lip Balm works amazingly, as well. I like Redken's Smooth Down Butter Treat deep conditioner for very dry hair. http://www.getprice.com.au/images/up...1014532909.jpg Used weekly, it makes my hair soooooooooo smooth and doesn't tangle at all. also, it lets me keep my curls.. so it's not heavy for my hair at all. |

Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle. The "deeeeeep" version. Nothing but compliments on soft, soft hair. :) |
This stuff is the best conditioner ever. It makes my hair soft and shiny without weight.

Haven't tried the hemp lip stuff. But yeeeears ago they made a sleep mask thingy full of smell good thingys. I used it for years. The scent never faded and I'd instantly drift off to sleep after a night of partying. I can't find it anywhere now :(.
But I prefer this for my lips: http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/2...2304360815.jpg No shine. No color. I'm all over it. I have one in virtually every room in my house. |
Smith's Rosebud Salve.
Great on lips, great on chapped skin, great on cuticles, great on the face for a dewy glow. I've used it since high school, and usually buy 5-6 tins at a time so that I never run out. |
Is it weird that I've tried most of these products? >_< **product whore** Only thing I've never tried was the Aussie product. Never tried Aussie ever.. But! Will one day..
|
Nah, not too weird :p.
Just bought this and the conditioner: http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/375...74full2936.jpg I've seen it before and checked out the reviews online. 4.5-5 / 5 stars is what led me to run out and buy it. The stuff's phenomenal. The scent is similar to Juicy Fruit gum. The conditioner is weird to use as it's baby puke green, but the slip is amazing - great for long hair. You can find it in Regis salons (Trade Secret, Hair Cuttery, Famous Hair, etc.) Get it! |

Yes, I wear hairspray. And I've sworn by this stuff for almost 10 years now. No white flakey shit. Flexible hold. Great for scrunching or for smoothed out styles. Price is great for what you get imho. And the scent isn't overpowering. yay. |

My newest fave is Prescriptives All Skins Mineral Makeup. It's a liquid mineral extreme wear foundation that WILL NOT slide off - even if it's super hot outside. It covers well without feeling heavy.
|

Simple. Classic. And works way better than any of the fancy cleansers I've tried. |
Noxzema is also great on body eczema. I have it on my arms and washing with this gets all the red off of them.
My pick is Johnson & Johnson's baby lotion. It works well, smells great, is inexpensive and isn't greasy. I hate lotions that are even a touch greasy. |
ISO Bouncy Creme. The best I've ever tried for defining and defrizzing, especially curly hair, without having to use a gel or something scrunchy. And the big container lasts forever.

There's a Lush thread already, but this stuff is amazing for dry skin.

I forgot my other fav...not really a product, but perfect for a cheapy like me.
Sea salt + olive oil or grapeseed oil = sea salt scrub. Add in your favorite essential oils if you want. Mmmmm. |
Cetaphil-
Great lotion, no scent and no oily residue. Recommended by my dermatologist since I have eczema and cannot use a lot of other beauty products. |

Fantastic make up. Very different. Takes some getting used to. But once you get the hang of it, your skin will never look better. They have great colors too. |
I've discovered headbands with the elastic underneath:
http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/2449/goodyz.jpg I love them. And they come in all sorts of styles - leather, tortoise shell, fabric, etc. And they stay put. A new way to wear long hair yay! |
kenra silkening gloss. it makes you smell like your 13 but its still amazing. it makes your hair look so healthy and defines your layers.
|
Actizen's Vitality Purifying Essence.
Purchased it during a trip to Singapore last month! The only product that actually works wonders on my blackheads and significantly reduces them! |
Large thermal brushes
http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/378...roundbrush.jpg Excellent for adding body, volume and curl - straightens too. Every woman should own several of these. And of course, use them with a hairdryer on dry hair for max effect. Heats up the brush like a curling iron, for those who may not know. |
I'm honestly impressed with this stuff. And no, you don't have to have scaly, crusty, nasty old lady feet to use it lol. It really is different. I thought it'd be like baby oil or something but it's not at all. It absorbs instead of coats. And it smells nice. You can use it on your feet, elbows, cuticles, etc. I highly recommend it. Keep it on my nightstand.

This product has worked wonders for my skin. I have combination skin with many scars left from mild acne (pimple here and there) but my skin heals terribly always leaving a mark. This product has not only faded the marks quite a bit, but it has enhanced my complexion, less red patches and a much much more fairer complexion overall :) |
I've used this off and on for years. Keep going back to it. My skin gets super dry. I actually apply to dry skin then rinse off. Skin's baby smooth afterward especially if you shave after rinsing. Good stuff and el cheapo.

Pertaining to Lush:
http://www.lushusa.com/circle/main/out/00411.jpg Mask of magnaminty. Smells like mint ice cream. My skin is combo and my face tends to dry out. This exfoliates it and leaves my face super soft and clean. |
Lush w00t.
Haven't tried anything new from them in a while. I really need to though. |

A couple of times a week, I use this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Q1r9IaWpNI...il+of+olay.jpgLove it! |
Yeah - I know, I've heard that before too. They scratch. Dermatologists recommend scrubs with beads instead of the apricot. But they just don't do what the apricot stuff does on my skin.
...they say smoking is bad too. *lights up* :p |
Have you tried Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub? It uses beads instead of pits, and I find that it leaves my skin feeling as clean as the apricot scrub used to (I think it's the menthol). I am downright addicted to the stuff.
|
Is it blue? If so I think I have. And I do remember it smelling menthol-y. I think I remember it feeling sandy too instead of beads just rolling around -
|
http://www.clinique.com/images/produ...q_6164_250.jpg
No, it's not blue. It's whitish, and almost like a paste. |
Oh no - haven't tried it then. I'll check into it tho - see if I can get a sample.
Wonder what it was I tried that was blue and scrubby and menthol. Swore it was Clinique. This was like, 10 or more years ago though. |
What? No Palmer's Cocoa Butter? It's done for my skin what the prescription moisturisers never could (I suffer from eczema). That is to say it manages to prevent post-shower dry skin! 's awesome.
|
I've bought it before but the chocolate smell is overpowering to me I think. I don't want to walk around smelling like a candy bar lol. If they're ever able to come out with an unscented version, I'm on it.
|
There is one around, 's pretty good, but still smells a little like cake. (the way to a man's heart is through his stomach?)
