Does your body size affect your sex life?

I know it affects mine...It sucks to only be able to do it a couple of ways because I am so big

my body IMAGE more than my body size effects my sex life...

if i am "feeling fat"... then certain positions make me feel even more fat... ugly... vulnerable...

Willow is more than understanding, loving, and actually prefers me heavier than i usually am.... but i still limit myself with my own feelings and perceptions... it's hard on him, as he is often saying he wishes that i could see myself through his eyes...

i feel pretty sad about it at times... and am working on changing it... talking about it with others and realizing i am not alone helps a lot...

First, though you didn't ask, two suggestions. Go to sizewise.com for many resources for large women. A book suggested there, called Big, Big Love, by Hanne Blank, has a lot of info/suggestions on sexual positions that work well for larger people.

To answer your query. My weight has fluctuated 100 lbs. over my life time thus far.
When I was very big, exposing my naked body to my lover bothered me a lot. Getting a comfy sexual positon was difficult and I never wanted the lights on, even tho' my lover preferred to be able to see me. Also, I declined his suggestions to shower together. I had a lot of body shame & hatred.

I regret now that I wasted many intimate moments. No matter what my size, I am a sexual person- and I will no longer let my body shape or size get in the way of being fully sexual, alone or with my partner.
