Birth Control Pills and Testosterone
So, I've been doing some thinking lately about my facial hair (yeah, I know, great way to start...
![]() ![]() So my question is, are there any birth control pills that you know of that don't have male hormones in them, but yet are still effective? I've read about everyone with their IUDs and rings, but I'm happy with using a pill (I take other pills at the same time, so remembering to take them every day at the same time isn't an issue). Oh, yeah, and I'll be sure to talk to my doctor about this at my next appointment, I just wanted to get your input, so I can go to the appointment prepared with some different brand options, and not just walk into this blindly. ![]() Thanks for your help. ![]()

I've been taking Levora for awhile now and I haven't had any problems. The two active ingredients are ethinyl estradiol which is estrogen and levonorgestrel, a synthetic progestogen. I haven't read anything about it containing testosterone. So, it may be a good one for you to ask about.
