I'm not quite a newbie, but I've been away for so long that I thought I might as well start over. I'm Easytiger, a teacher from Australia. I can't say that I'll post much, but I do enjoy a good old-fashioned polite argument, particularly when it comes to politics and religion. It's nice to be back.

Hello, I'm a newbie that has been reading as much as I can so that I don't appear to be an idiot newbie. My first impression has been that TFP is overwhelming in size compared to the only other forum I have been involved with. I am beginning to realize that this is a good thing because I find a large variety of voices here, and the discussions seem to be more vital for that reason.
I tend not to post unless I have a "burning share" about a topic important to me. From what I have read about membership rules, I expect to be a "Rookie" forever. |

Looks like I'm late joining the bandwagon, but here I am. I live in San Diego, enjoy bands, beer, beaches, sports, reading spy novels etc. Lots of good stuff here to chat about and it seems like people act like grownups. People seem to give their opinion without starting a pissing contest when somebody disagrees. Nice!

I don't remember if I ever posted in this thread. I'm Steve. My name comes from a misspelling of monkey (don't ask how I did it). Um... I'm a high school student. I love my car, a Pontiac Fiero GT. Other than that, I don't know what to put. As you can see I have been a member for a year or so but never posted and forgot about it. Then I was cleaning out my favorites and found the link for here and I am going to (or going to try to) be more active.

Whats poppin, "Marvel at my Intro"
Whats up, here is my short profile about my life, and my wife and my life issues.
Here is my Real Picture: "Damn, i thought yall knew" I was bron in russia, my real USA name is Shawn Vegas , 23 Hollywood, ca red city. My wife name is angel , born in london, 26. I dont care for evolution, meaning i dont believe in it. And neither do i believe in Science or the works of science(to a point). I believe in GOD, Jesus Christ and the Bible(KJV). I aint a christian, and neither do i work with christianity. I am a christian at heart tho, but thats another story. I have 8 cats, and i dress them in custom clothes, from sport jackets, bandanna's, winter coats, shades, football jersery's and whatever i can get my hands on, even tho we got a custom maker to make these clothes for them. My fav bands are: Smashing pumpkins, Dave Matthews, Korn, Deftones, Stage, Blink 182, Offspring and others. I own 3 cars, and a dirt bike. I am closed minded, "I might be a little rich, but best believe i'm still struggling like the next person" I also have plans to change the world soon, so when you see a brother wearing a U.2.K. chain, and a cat in my left hand and a soda in my right hand, thats me yall. Good times tho, I'm here forever baby, i'm like the earth foundation, i cant be stop.

I guess it's about time I do this.
I'm probably one of the oldest (as in, join date. Not age, heh) lurkers here. I read a whole bunch, but I just never posted. I don't know why, but I just started posting. My name is Max, and I'm an Alcoholic. Well, I was born and raised and now reside in North Carolina. It's been my home for my entire life. I've also been a life-long Tar-Heel fan, so this year was pretty awesome. I guess that's about it. |

This is one of the best accidental discoveries I've made when using a search engine. Earlier tonight, I was searching for info on Tilted Pad Bearings, hoping to find a "project" or forum/user-group that would help with a minor emergency at work. I found nothing of sufficient detail to aid the current situation, but quickly decided that the emergency would simply have to wait while I explored the recesses of this new-found site. I can't wait to read and post to these forums. Kudos to the individuals who've made this happen - the sheer thought of intelligent, open individuals in one forum is exciting, to say the least..

Welcome MidtownSun....glad you found us. Try posting your emergency in TFP. You just may find the answer you are looking for.
I would say welcome to Vyper but, since he missed the 18 y/o rule, I guess he won't be seeing this for a while.

Hey.. Offkilter here.. Throwing off the yoke of lurkerism and joining in with the knowledge and the learning and the arguing... I'm opinionated, hard-nosed and stubbon.. and yet willing to be taught new things and able to bend like the supple reed in the river.
Umm.. Also I talk alot of crap.

Hi all, after reading some of the post here it seems like the people from titled forum project have set up a very nice community here; Already have read lots of comforting words to fellow posters. It's always nice to know somenone makes some time for antother persons issues.
Quick introduction: mid twenties, like listening and discovering music (electro, rock, dance, urban... all things funky), playing Wow and off course I also enjoy all the attention I get from my gf (but must admit I like watching some booty from time to time. :-))) During the weekend I esp like hanging out with friends with a "few" beers. Hope to meet some "like minded" people here, but I'm sure that won't be a prob. Talk to u all soon |
