Don't worry about your post count. Just be a contributing member of the community. You obviously read the rules about 250 posts for an avatar but keep in mind that this isn't a guarantee. The mods & admins determine who gets that priviledge, not your post count. As you start posting, you will find the count to be irrelevant.
