Welcome morpheus01. Hopefully you'll find some other interesting stuff. You're right that this isn't a news site, but we don't pretend to be. We tend to spend much more time talking about the "why's" and "hows" of the news than breaking it ourselves. Hopefully you'll find some other things of interest than dogs and chickens, but you're welcome here regardless.

It's all fun and games until someone turns it into a cult.

I come from the net. Through systems, peoples, and cities, to this place...
I right wrongs, write wrongs, and apparently, am upright. *Edit* Oh, I'd forgotten why I posted in this topic to begin with. Out of curiosity, is there a topic here explaining the origins of the forum? Last edited by Ritesign; 03-19-2007 at 01:16 AM.. |

Hi, tasman! Stop being so funny. Really. *me gives tasman the look*
boink, your username is one of the more adorable euphemisms for sex. Just saying... Welcome back! Ritesign, I see you're off to an auspicious start. Nice to see you here. And I don't think there is a thread on the origins of TFP. We did have a Wikipedia page in the works, but it's not up and running yet. But we have many original TFP members here who I am sure would be glad to impart some history to you. Welcome everyone! Please feel free to jump in and have fun. http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=45061 http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=105692 http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=112969 And, hello to you, Laugh-O-Matic. we eat trolls...unless, of course, they have interesting stories involving sex or archaeology...or sex Welcome to TFP

Hi, Cavi Mike! I see you are a diggigrant.
Thanks for stopping by and electing to hang around a while. See, it's only Monday and already you've made a good decision. You may be of service by joining in, sharing your opinions, your experiences and your perspective. Just don't try to sell us any cameras or Paris Hilton sextapes and you'll do fine.

Hello all!
I stumbled across tfproject from an article I found on digg.com - which led me to registering and posting this short message. I felt the need to sign-up as this forum seems to cover everything that my usual forum-residence doesn't. After all, there's only so much to talk about technolgy...

My name is . . . well i forgot my name but i was told this was going to be a cult.
I was just wondering when the kool-aid is handed out because I'm thirsty. Ohh and does spelling count?

Wow, lots of new faces! Welcome all!
Spelling isn't an issue, although you'll notice a lot of folks with broken "shift" keys". The Kool-Aid is just fine, although you do want to watch out for the wicked Everclear recipes in the Tilted Cooking.
