A question regarding outside links..
I run a site which is basically a collection of different pieces of writing (short stories, rants, poetry, etc) which are all interlinked through their content.
It is free and literature-related (I don't collect any sort of contact information or assume ownership of contributions), and I would like to post in the literary forum inviting people to contribute their writings but I don't want to step on any toes in the process. Is it considered a faux pas on this board to mention outside links in that way, or acceptable as long as I do so tactfully (i.e. no use of the blink tag)?

thanks for asking seretogis, but we would appreciate it if you didn't "plug," as we call it, your site. Plugging is generally defined as posts dedicated to "COME JOIN MY SITE!" type comments. feel free to leave a link to your site in your profile, though. It turns into the WWW link underneath all your posts, so you actually get some pretty good coverage that way.
