Question about Sigs
 

Like, I know there is no site plugging or whatever.

But in your signature, can you have "Buy "Insert Product Name Here" on "Insert Date Here" if you don't have a link or anything?

Well if you think of this as Halx house....
would you want somebody to come into your house with a billboard saying 'buy this product' on 'insert date here'.

Please, also try to keep your sigs to less than 1 inch in height on your screen. I've been on some forums that are 90% sigs and 10% content because people would have huge sigs that take up an insane amount of room.

Don't worry - if someone's sig is too long, they'll get a friendly PM from one of us asking them to shorten it ;)

Oh so thats why we do not get sigs... I was lookin around the site asking questions and so on about how to do that. Well i guess i have to become more accustommed to this site and its ways. I Must learn haha if anyone would like to help me out by giving me a quick run around of what i can and cant post about what i can do what i have acces to so on so on. Yeah sigs are cool, I really need to think of something clever. Maybe a quote or something! :)

Sigs can get out of hand. There are examples out there of a two word post and like 3 screens worth of sig. It boggles the mind. In my opinion, short and sweet is the key.

Been using this sig for years now, would like to change but it has become me, every forum I go to people remember my posts by my sig and avatar.

although back in my amiga days ther was/is a great free email program called "YAM" (which stood for "Yet Another Mailer")
that let you have a text file with a list of taglines that were inserted randomly at the sig.

dont know if PC mailers can do this never found a PC as interesting and fun as my Amiga 4000 so never bothered to try
