What do i get for donation?
Is there anything that I get in retrun like a title?
An avatar? ( i don't have 250 posts yet! ) or something special? Let's say 20 dollar donation since this seems to be a fairly mature forum. Fourms where they just spam lots of stupid comments over and over again such as say.... Genmay -> Genmay AEC and The Pit are okay though Last edited by Ganguro; 07-28-2003 at 06:10 AM.. |

You get to bug the shit out of all the other non-doners, asking them to donate ;-) |

No problem, I don't mind waiting. I just wanted to know what the general timeframe was.
Here is another question: How did you find the quote from Halx? Did you just remember reading it before, or did you do a search? Before posting my question I looked around trying to find the answer, but reading the seemingly relevant threads and doing a search didn't turn up anything. In fact, maybe the question here is more general- how do you veterans tend to navigate the site? Do you just randomly dive into a forum and then pick an insteresting thread, are you subscribed to lots of threads? Also, when you come across a super long thread, do you read the whole thing, or just the last page before adding your own post? I feel obligated to read the whole thing, but sometimes that can take forever. |

Sometimes it's because we have answered the same question so many times we know exactly where to go. The search function works pretty well if you use the wild card. Quote:
I tend to start by checking the threads I have posted to or that have been pretty heated lately. If I find a thread that looks interesting but that has gotten really long I always read the whole thing before I post. That way I don't repeat something someone else imght have said (usually better then I did) and I get some great insight. After you have been here a while it won't seem so daunting. Jump on in the water is fine. |
