Its free, you are required to join, unlimited space but it may have restrictions as to what type of image can be uploaded (i.e. - no porn). Images can be hotlinked - As illustrated below.

Seems nice, but I would not be surprised if it had a maximum bandwidth/day limit or some such thing. They do forbid posting of copyrighted material, and in the CoC materials meeting the following criteria, among others, are forbidden:

(i) Contains or displays any expression of bigotry, racism, or hatred, or is ethnically offensive, objectionable or inappropriate;
(ii) Is or might be perceived by ImageStation or ImageStation members or users, as defamatory, libelous, disparaging, obscene, pornographic, profane, threatening, abusive, deceptive, offensive, vulgar, ethnically offensive, objectionable or inappropriate, including nudity, adult content, illegal content, content of a sexual nature, and unacceptable language;

So I do not think that porn would be allowed. Whether or not they notice or particularly care is another matter.

imagestation is a very good site for hosting. you can host vids there also.

I concur, Imagestation is good but what about digital planet?

I just use tripod and switch the file extensions of my images to .txt (ex. hawt.txt instead of hawt.jpg) to link to other places.:)

where would you folks go if you had your own server and just needed gobs of bandwidth? Like to host your own amateur site on?

Not as good as the deal with my .com site (different hosting company with a full 5 GB storage), but still very decent .

edit: switched hosts after a long time back after they failed me miserably, went out of business, or whatever else

They throttle the bandwidth with timers. But they will give you 50 megs free. And they don't care what you post

If you click the llink under this post, it will take you to my FREE, zero condition image hosting. All you have do is register a account and either use a public or private folder of your own choosing. I dont get anything out of this other then the fact I'm helping out others.

Just dont try uploading entire sets of copywrited images for the TB, for that is illegal.

They only let you post one image at a time, but, if you register, you can post multiple ones. Oh yeah, they have a 1024 k limit. But, most forums don't let you post any bigger than that anyways. Well, the ones I frequent. :)

i just wanted to say thanks for the imageshack link. I've used and still use imagestation occasionally although i lost my first account for posting pictures on an automotive website (honda-tech).
