Hi Everyone
I'm really lousy at these intro threads, but here it goes..
Hello..I'm a forum refugee, and I followed Gabdia, who followed Angelica, Fish, and Ritzy over here. I just straggled a bit. I'm a Registered Nurse, and I live in Florida. There you have it..that's probably more than I've ever written in an intro, so I'm going to take some aspirin and lie down to recover. |
Hi, IdolGirl! My grandmother, mother, and sister were/are nurses!
Your crew have been finding their way into the threads quite nicely. Welcome. |
Hey....there's "me". Wondered when I would get here.
To catch you all up, Idol and I think so identical, people think we are one in the same. In the interest of keeping everyone guessing, I'll leave you to wonder if I just posted to myself. (ASA, pfffttt!) ps: Banshee, and seems like one other, is running around here too. Oh, and Grid's already been banned. SHOCKER |
LMFAO...Grid was here? And I missed it? (or....did I?) *insert drama prairie dog music here*

OK. Who packed the Grid in the car  Hey T:) |
Now who would ban Grid?
Hi idol.......(and I will beat you to it) Where is Emmy? |
This is beginning to look like a RR refuge camp
Even debauch. I'm glad you all found the way http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a69...idays-AGOL.gif |

lmfao! I love that thing! (and I gave the link a very gentle, loving caress..I think it rather enjoyed it ;) ) |
I once knew a nurse, she gave me a catheder and I liked it.
then I blacked out. |
Welcome to the TFP!!!
|
oh good...another nurse..figured there had to be another one here somewhere...

Yes, we are a rather unique bunch. Well, I take that back. It seems there are two types of nurses. The sick and twisted, and the Florence Nightengales. I sometimes wish I was in the latter :shakehead: Quote:

awwwww, man! You probably missed the very best part! |

the only ones I ever met were my nursing school teachers...you know the type, I'm sure! But out in the real world? Maybe one or two, fresh out of school, all dewy eyed and naive..but we converted them in pretty short order!
|
LOL
new nurses are so much fun. they are so easily horrified. |

Ah well. Welcome! |

thank you for the welcome :D The newbies are still blissfully naive, and some are easily spooked. There is a certain amount of enjoyment to be had by locking some giggly new girl in the morgue cooler. (bonus points if the cooler isn't empty). I was very fortunate...I was running 911 calls for 9 years, so I had seen more than half the floor nurses I met, and didn't come on the job completely green. I had about 13 years of medical field experience before I became a nurse, so I had a good grip on things. It definitely made school a heck of a lot easier, too!! |
Welcome to the mayhem Idolgilrl. You'll enjoy it here.
|
Thank you much, Bobdog!! :D
