I am a shy lurker that was recommended to visit TFP by Ms. Maleficent many months ago. I am impressed by the number of voices and opinions here, and how well the forum is structured and monitored.

After braving this first post, the second should come easier. :)

I was using the search engine Dogpile.com to look for artist forums, and TFP made the list. I took a brief look and thought that actually, this forum looks varied and robust and involved and hey, let's be a joiner not a lurker. So here I am.

I wasn't pointed toward this site, as much as badgered, harangued and threatened to take a look at the goings on here. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised and happy to be here.

I actually heard about TFP from Menoman. He's an online acquaintence of mine, and has been actually for quite some time.

He attempted posting a link to me in AIM that's here on TFP, and since I wasn't a member at the time, I asked him what TFP was. He called me a noob, it was good times.

Then I registered and all was well.

I dont think any one in gainesville tx has heard of this website i was discussing it with some friends and they werer totally oblivious. I acutally heard about this website through one of my good buddies (virtuaspy) when i lived in houston. And now finally after a year of viewing at my buddies house, i decided to join that Gainesville finally got dsl.
