People have to kind of remember too........those pics were taken probably around 3AM? After they were partying hard for hours and after they were having sex in a bar bathroom. I'm quite certain that most of our beer goggles have had much less attractive females appearing far more attractive at that time of night.

Apparently I was misinformed. Grace was a cheerleader in high school, as was her high school girlfriend.* Apparently, they conspired to allow only hot young 18-year-old bisexual girls on the team, and would warm up before practice and games my rubbing oil on each other's nude bodies, then would relax afterwards with full body massages and naked dips in the whirlpool before going out with their boyfriends.

For what it's worth, though I've never been a cheerleader myself, I do in fact have a cheerleading outfit. Is the chess team sexy? Forensics? Cross country? The Sci Fi club? School newspaper? Academic decathlon? English Olympics? Geography bee? I did all of those at one time or another.

Regarding the bathrooms referenced earlier, they're in the Mandalay Bay's Chinese Restaurant, right smack dab in the middle of the dining room, behind a beaded curtain. The walls are thick frosted white glass, and they're unisex; you just kinda wander in and take whatever's free. And nobody cares if two people occupy one at the same time. The glass, fortunately or unfortunately, depending upon your point of view, isn't quite opaque; you can see shadows of the person or people inside each unit as you pass by. Grace and I weren't the only ones who chose to use one together the night we were there.* After entering, we found ourselves overwhelmed by a passion so great that we couldn't keep our hands off of each other, losing ourselves in the moment, oblivious to the silence that grew around our unit as our sounds of ecstasy built to a crescendo, only to discover a crowd had gathered to watch the play of our shadows on the frosted glass as we made love, applauding enthusiastically as we exited. The cleaning charge they added to our bill was quite extensive.

After reading the one cheerleader's bio, I gotta say that, had I no picture, I'd think they were describing Grace.

There are sexual things I won't even think of doing, I won't even have fantasies of doing and would probaly wonder about the lady I'm with if she even brought them up.....

Topping that list is sex in a public bathroom stall. Did they clean the toilet seat? Even though it's a women's room, it's a bar are you sure the floor is clean and not covered in piss and puke..... just fucking gross.

Exhibitioist sex is one thing, but come on ladies keep it in an elevator, a car, a dressing room, but a room where strangers shit, piss and puke........ that's fucking class there.

I caught a glimpse of the donny deutsch show last night, and the wayward cheerleaders were the topic of conversation.. Now I can't quite beleive I would agree with anything that donny says... but he made an interesting point.

Is there a double standard being practiced with these women? Professional sports players get arrested on pretty much a weekly basis, but are still allowed to play, yet cheerleaders are held to a specific code of conduct (while dressed very provovatively)

Is there a double standard? Is it fair that these women got fired when the men have done far worse and are still allowed to play?

yes there is a double standard. the reason is that on sundays millions tune in on tv or show up at the stadium to watch those players and not the cheerleaders. It is like all sports, its easier (and cheaper) to fire the coach or in this case the cheerleaders instead of firing a multi-million dollar player.

yep, but the cheerleaders don't negotiate multi-million dollar contracts that the franchises have to protect. but that's probably another thread entiretly.

what i can say, and our resident cheerleader can weigh in here if she'd like, but the cheerleaders I've known/dated are extremely funky about doing...ummm...lewd things in uniform, or while representing the school/group. Or at least they were *supposed* to be really careful about it. Then again, some stories I've heard....

It sure is. A double standard, I mean. A few years back, a group of cheerleaders were kicked off the cheerleading squad after participating in a sex-for-points game with a group of football players. The football players remained on the team.

Part of it, though, might be that cheerleaders are essentially volunteers chosen for the purpose of representing the team as symbols, while players are chosen for the purpose of winning. Players are chosen for their skills, while cheerleaders are chosen as much for what they represent as for how good they are at dancing and tumbling.

So I think that mitigates the double standard somewhat, while not dismissing it altogether.
