identify this symbol (tibetan buddhist?)
I just bought an amulet off Ebay to house a small amount of my brother's ashes, and it says one side has hand-inscribed "ten freedoms from wordly cares" but I can't find any reference to such a symbol. Does anyone know what this symbol (pictured below) is really called?

yeah, it's the stylized Om. I have one around my neck I don't take off.

I'm not sure it's an Om...I saw it as well on this picture, taken at Jokhang Temple in China (it's the symbol on the top "petal") so I'm not sure it's Hindu...might be the Tibetan equivalent of the "Om," though, I suppose.
