[Note: This was all a nightmare/dream....a very realistic, detailed nightmare/dream....I just woke up from it and thought to tell you about it..]


It was a 4 AM and I was Awaken by hunger pains and went down to the kitchen to have a bowl of cereal
BTW, I live in a 3 story house [including attic, not including basement] residental neighborhood, houses right next to each other....

While I was down there, I happened to notice the driveway light by my nextdoor neighbor's house was on, so I happened to check roughly through the dining room window what was going on, and saw a crew of four guys with bags and stuff....[WTF - I'm thinking in my mind, my neighbor's house is being robbed, and for some reason in this dream - I knew the neighbors weren't home...]

So, I go onto my back porch [which from I can view the neighbor's driveway pretty clearly, 10 feet away] and said "What the hell are you doing ?!?!" and one guy responded with garbage bags full of probably clothes in them [WTF?!?] "oh, we're cleaning..."

I gave them the 'oh, bullshit' look on my face, and went into the house.....These guys could have been armed and since the neighbors weren't home, I didn't want to directly confront them more than I already did...And for some reason, I didn't call the cops. I occasionally looked at the men [through the window], tried to get some descriptions [of them and their getaway car - a white van]

[This is where the dream get a bit blrry....]

For some reason, I didn't call the cops until right when they were getting ready to make their getaway....Even my bowl of cereal came first - then, I called them with my info.... [in retrospect, maybe it was because I didn't want a conflict to break down right at my house and/or the thiefs would directly know I called and target me next....]

I know this seems pretty detailed, as soon as I woke up with morning sweat, I tried to replay this dream in my head.

So....I'm just kinda weirded out by this, and a bit worried too, because I don't know my rationale for my actions in the dream...

Given that situation, I would have stepped back, turned off the lights, and called the cops. You don't just choose to walk into a situation that might involve guns, unless it's to protect you and your own.

well depends on what state you live in...i mean if you live in texas you would finish your breakfast then get your gun and take the law into your own hands

but i would probably get a video camera and film the guys and wait for a reward to be offered...

i know that seems weird (and unrealistic) but its just the first random thing that came to my mind

I live in a complex that has a rent-a-cop on duty after 9 pm. I'd have called him up and let him handle it. I really don't function well at 4 am.

i would slash one tire if they were all in there, get the liscence plate # and then call the cops.
