Spam/Advertising and Solicitation/Fundraising...
This is really pretty simple, folks.
We don't want your... flatscreens iPods Viagra dating service "escort" service (and we know what you mean by escort, you're not fooling anyone) eBay stuff diet pills breast implants ...or anything else, for that matter. Advertising/spamming in any way is vehemently prohibited. We will ban you IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT QUESTION if you are a rookie and post this nonsense. To be honest, we get way too much of this crap to try and filter it- and since you should be reading the rules when you sign on, you can consider this your second warning, should you post such garbage on our boards. SecretMethod70: So stop posting about them!! (Halx edit: You will get banned if you post shit like this) (Hanxter: that's 6 banned - anymore???) bermuDa: At this point, we've lost count. remember folks: these posts won't be tolerated even by established members, we don't blink twice before banning a rookie who posts this shit. Now... just to drop it down a notch, the wonderful Tecoyah has a simple reminder about our policy on solicitation and fundraising... Tecoyah: The Tilted Forum Project has always set a tone of freedom and support. There are certain areas of community that must be controlled in an attempt to stop misuse, or degradation of community before it can begin. The Policy of the TFP has always been against solicitation in any form, regardless of personal acceptance of a cause or organization. Thus we must remove any and all threads that border on, or cross over to a request for material goods from one member to another. We all care and worry about our fellow inhabitants of this world.....whether in here, or out there. But it is inappropriate to request something publicly in this community, without the expressed permission of the site owner. There are virtually thousands of places to donate to disaster relief, and many of us here have visited these, and contributed as we see fit. Please feel free to do so, but do not post such requests within these forums. Thank you all very much for your continued sense of community, friendship, and respect. It is much appreciated by all, including your fellow members. - TFP Staff. |
