I help around the house, but there are some jobs I am incapable of doing to my wife's satisfaction. There are also jobs that she simply can't do. I suspect that both of us feel that we work harder than the other, but I'm really not inclined to keep score. I don't want that would lead in that direction.
It will give me some fuel to tease a couple of my Spanish counterparts, however. |

Government imposing housework laws now? Seems there is no limit to what humanity will put up with. This can not possibly be true, can it?
"What is a woman going to do if her husband doesn't help her at home? March to the local police station and report him? You can just imagine the expression on the faces of the officers on duty, can't you?" It seems women in spain just can't divorce a hopeless spouse? This is one of those things you just point and laugh and hope it never really comes true.

What ever happened to sewing him up in the bedsheets while he's sleeping and beating the shit of him until he starts doing some of the housework?
Spain is predominately Catholic, so divorces are rare. Sad, another private situation the government thinks they ought to stick their nose into. |

Oh no, heaven forbid that gender equality mean women are forced to go to work more.
And if any feminazi takes offence at that, bite me ![]()

It seems pretty sad to me when the government must get involved in family affairs in order for the men to take responsibility and help their wives do work. Granted, culture is different, but it's not that different.
