I can't see how you fail to see that there is no difference.

Can you honestly say that you didn't throw in the word "fat" as a way of heaping additional scorn on this guy?

Had you just said this "asshat" protester, I would have totally agreed. He looks like an idiot.

But on the surface, what you are saying implies that not only is he an idiot, but he's a FAT idiot..HA HA HA!

Oh, and as to the issue, while I don't personally have any Jackson albums, I think he was very talented.

Now I think he's just messed up middle aged man who is passing on his sickness by molesting children.

Send him to prison.

I need the option: "I'm indifferent to Michael Jackson's music and think he's innocent by reason of insanity." He needs to be institutionalized, not locked up.

JACKO REPORTER IN FEAR OF 'CRAZED' FAN; COURT ISSUES RESTRAINING ORDER

Diane Dimond and COURT TV have obtained a court-issued restraining order against the leader of a Michael Jackson fan contingent, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The 20-year old male from Knoxville, Tennessee has been yelling and allegedly "threatening" Dimond for weeks, sources tell DRUDGE.

"It's turned ugly," a media source explains.

He was served with papers today on the Santa Maria court campus.

The fan has been chanting "bitch, bitch, bitch" as Dimond works and files her reports.

Media Row is separated from the fans by a fence and only 10 feet.

Jackson supporters believe Dimond has been operating as the prosecutor's unofficial advocate and mouthpiece.

Meanwhile, COURT TV has hired private security guards to protect Dimond.

I think that Micheal Jackson used to be talented, but that the obvious psychological problems he suffers from have hindered that talent.

I hope he is tried justly, and I have no idea if he's guilty or not. I don't watch or read the reports on the trial because I don't find it interesting. There are much more important things to worry about than Micheal Jackson sleeping with a kid.

To be honest, I'd like child services to be brought in after the case and save the kid from his bad parents. Why would any decent parent allow their child to sleep in the same room with a (creepy) forty year old, who has previously been accused of molesting a young boy? I'd never ever sacrifice a kid for millions, and I think anyone who would knowingly allow their child to enter that sort of risk should be tried themselves.

He's a freak and the people standing out there are freaks too. I don't know if he did it or not, but I don't think he should go to jail for being strange. However, you would think after being accused of this before, he would stop having "sleep overs"!

Exactly.

If his accuser was to say, "I don't want any money, it's not about the money. I will sign a contract that I won't sue him for money, I just want to see him put in jail to stop him from hurting kids", I would believe his accuser.

As it stands now, I don't believe his accuser.

This guy being in all the pics and whatnot, he's going to probably be able to walk away with a few interviews on national tv, some form of book deal and might even get to meet Micheal.

This guy will be the "flavor of the day" for a week or so and make enough to live quite well for a few years all because he made himself seen during this trial. What does that say about our society?

Hell, next big star trial I'm selling everything camping in front of the courthouse and make myself known (even if I have to streak) if I'm right and this guy makes money off this.

As for MJ........ he's a freak of nature. Don't know what happened to him after Thriller, but he just lost it, it started with the 1 glove and went from there. Course Latoya and Janet aren't exactly "normal."

What kind of parent would leave t heir child with a person who has been accused of sexual molestation.. Ok , he wasn't guilty the first time... but...
I knew if I continued reading this thread that someone would get to the point that seems lost in this whole mess. Why is it a good idea to allow your child to spend time alone with this guy? Bedroom or kitchen or anywhere...why is this a good idea?

If Jacko calls me on the phone and says "Hey ... would you mind if Timmy came over for a sleep over?" Uuuuum...no Whacko ... Timmy is going to be busy for the rest of his life as far as you are concerned. No need to call back.

For the record I have no children so perhaps I'm not the best source for judgement calls like this but it seems to reason that if you put your child in harms way to a certain degree you have the right to expect he or she will get hurt. Maybe....just maybe that's what the parents were hoping for in this case. Jacko is a walking freak show and that's note new news. Maybe the next trial that should happen is for these parents to be charged with negligence.

I don't care whether he is guilty or not, frankly. I don't see any reason for this to be so widely covered - it's just another legal case in a sea of legal cases that have no bearing on my life or anyone else's who's not involved. I have to roll my eyes when I see on MSNBC.com that they'll break into broadcasts when the verdict is read. It's not like it's the Rodney King verdict. Sheesh.
You summed it up sooo well. Why should we give him MORE publicity if he is guilty of this. If not - why should we give publicity to the parents and child who , in that case, falsely accused him? I'm not sure what to think. Apparently there's enough evidence against him to have a case. Yet I've heard of things that make me question the character of the accusing parents. At this point I just really don't care.

B.J. Hickman to change his legal Name
B.J. Hickman has decited to change his legal name to Prince Aaron Michael Jackson. BJ was named after his father BOBBY JOSEPH HICKMAN and Bobby Sr. was a drunk and a bad bad man.. he would beat BJ and his mother.... Bj was born so early he was only 2 lbs 4oz. The reason BJ wants to change his name is because he wants to get as far away from the hickman family as possable... and the reason he piced his new name is because michael jackson has been his childhood idol and still is his idol ansd has been more of a father/idol/person to look up to then his dad could have ever been.

Michael is such a great person and he has helped so many people and what people do to him is sooo unfair and its not right!

Again, is this guy truly that loyal to MJ or is this some 1/2 whacko 1/2 genius who saw an oppurtunity to become "Kato-like" famous for his 15 minutes make a shitload of money and get national attention????

My guess is the latter and the press is eating it up.

The mother of the 'victim' was completely unbelievable...

While I think MJ is a child molester -- I do not beleive he was guilty in this case... and you can't be convicted for past behavior, only by the charges that were brought.

The jury made the right decision, good for t hem for seeing thru the freakishness...

It's comical to see people already disgusted that he was foudn not guilty. The jury had a lot more evidence than any of us did, and 12 people just decided that there wasn't enough evidence to prove that he did it. What makes your emotional reaction based on sensationalistic news reports intended to boost ratings any more credible than those of 12 people who agreed unanimously that he was not guilty based on 14 weeks of a trial?

For once, a jury voting based on proof. Believe he molests children or don't, but it was not even close to proven beyond a reasonable doubt in this case. i'm glad to see the jury decided based on that and not on preconceived notions.

I didn't follow the trial at all. I did catch the verdict though (only because it interupted Dr. Phil and Oprah). I was totally shocked that he was found not guilty on all charges. I thought that he would be found guilty on something. I still believe he is guilty. Maybe not this time, but it will come out.
