Website that takes pictures and blows them up
Hey everyone :) I had a question and hope you all could help me out! While browsing through here a while ago I came upon a thread that had a website that I was very interested in but since my computer crashed I lost the link and have searched in the forums here but to no avail.
Here is a basic outline of what the site I'm looking for does. Hopefully some one knows what specific site I'm talking about because I found it on these forums :P Thank you in advance! You can take basically whatever picture you choose and it will basically breakdown the picture you submitted to them into many many smaller pieces (almost like a puzzle if you will) and when it is done you take all of the pictures and reassemble it yourself into one huge blown up picture of what you submitted. |
This one kinda distorts it, but pretty much does what you described:

Oh yeah, I was just reminded of that site yesterday too.
What's the image you're blowing up? |

http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ This is the better of the two programs, but the downloaded version wouldnt run on my computer. It had allows for more detail and has a much better interface. But it would run on another computer.
http://www.rasterizer.de/ this alternative one that i found that works ok |
That is a very cool little program...

I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find that that the phrase "blows them up" was used in your title to mean "enlarges." I mean, the Rasterbator is pretty cool, but I'm still disappointed.
