Bangkok has good shopping for men's clothing. I changed my entire wardrobe for about US$200.
Electronics really is the realm of Singapore at the bottom of the Malayan penisula. both places have good food, Malaysia will have some different "quasi-chinese" Nonya food. Malaysia is quite poor. Thailand also poor, but there's lots of ornate golden temples. My vote is Bangkok. Enjoy a night out in Patpong.

My vote would be for Malaysia, there are lots of malls there and a mix of culture and modern living in Kuala Lumpur. I lived in KL for a while and loved it, I'd recommend it.
But I've only spent two hours at Bangkok airport so I'm a bit biased |
