hrm....

creamy when I'm makin me a honey and PB sammich... oh god those things are sooo good... esp. when you go to the farmer's market and get the nice, clear as you can find honey (the clearer the honey, the more delacate the sweetness)

crunchy when i get in the mood for PB on toast... and heat it up a little bit, crunchy is best when it's warm... and put some marshmallow fluff on top!

True, but nonetheless addictive and mmm, mmm, good.

I see how you're pointing out my contradiction in how I didn't like the processed store brands, but love the highly processed Reese's stuff, but hey- some people are a living contradiction (e.g. I'm going to school and feeling dumber every minute).

No insult or dig involved; my wife makes homemade chocolates, and has made peanut butter filling herself. Thought you might like to know.

It seems that crunchy has a slight edge....

I also noticed that 3 people vote "neither." What the hell is wrong with them that they don't like peanut butter? Who are these mutants?

Creamy. The crunchy tears up my mouth. And only all natural peanut butter.

Creamy on sandwiches, usually. Sometimes I'm in the mood for crunchy, but that's rare.

Crunchy goes in cookies, thank you.

I like crunchy best on everything, from celery to toast to crackers.

but in things like chocolate-peanut butter cheesecake (mmm!) and other recipes, creamy is better.

When I was little I wouldn't eat peanut butter 'cause my parents would give it to me in spoonfuls with medicine mixed in and it had this terrible taste. I can still remember it if I think about it enough. Yuck!

The chunkier the better. Otherwise, it's just some pasty substance that sticks to the roof of my mouth.

I prefer Peter Pan peanut butter over Jiff & Skippy.
When I was a kid I was all about the crunchy pb, but my mom rarely bought it, so it was usually just the smooth kind.
I got used to it so now it's what I buy.

Now though, this thread is making me hungry for crunchy again.

So, is Crunchy the dark side or the light side?
'Cause I sure am being lured.

Crunchy all the way. Makes my mouth a lot less dry when just eating the Peanut Butter
plain, and has soooo much more flavor. Ritz Cracker + Scoop of Chunky = WooT!

The goodness is amazing.

Smooth Kraft (The Bears!!!) Light...

it is the only Peanut Butter that matters... all the rest (and you know who you are) are second rate... Crunchy is only for people who have something to prove ("look at me!!! I can chew now!!!).

Crunchy messes up the bread and does not spread as well. Also little pieces of peanut gets stuck in you back teeth when you use crunchy.

Creamy is far superior
